Interesting remarks from Andrew Howard, he’s well connected with the club so must have a good idea what is going on. It’s also been fairly obvious in recent interviews with MB that DR is responsible for recruitment. I don’t think we can judge how good/bad that recruitment is until the end of Jan although given our league position I would hope we get a couple in the door by early next week, I imagine we have a shortlist of players we want already.

I like Bakinson but he appears to now be 4th choice central midfielder, behind Leahy in the pecking order (5th if including Morley), which I'm not sure was the intention when he was signed in the summer on probably high wages.
