More Danish Links

Apologies if anyone has posted this anywhere. I have not seen it, but an interesting additional link to Denmark. This is the mystery of our times!

My WTF moment was the mention of flying out from Gatwick and not the massive airport in walking distance from the training ground. But that’s probably completely inconsequential and has nothing to do with anything. I just found it weird.

There’s a fairly new Wycombe account on Twitter (200+ followers but that’s about right for a Wycombe handle) that I have started following whom claims big things are expected of Magnus and Anders next season and they will be pivotal players. I have no reason to believe/dis-believe and will just see what happens. That account may indeed lurk on here, who knows.

We may of got new Danish links but it appears our Spanish connections have moved on to Harborough Town which is a shame.

Need to get a Danish supporters group, Aarhus, Our Rules

They’ll be missed at Wembley if we happen to end up there again this season

I also saw the Harborough video - does anyone know if they are still involved with WWFC, or have they totally jumped ship to another club?

Would be a real shame if they’ve moved on because they felt new ownership group, or our own supporter base, didn’t get them enough love…

Glad I never chipped in for them to get to Wembley now

Sadly it’s pronounced “arse”, though the sentiment could still apply.

Ah apologies mate! Hopefully your deleted post was a right scolding!

It’s been said before but how on earth are two blokes in their mid-20’s, who are already professional footballers, going to be incredible next year when they can’t get in the team now?

God help us if we had done the same thing with Kone, who arguably needed more time to make the leap from Step 9 to League One.

I once had to run the line for a behind closed doors friendly with Viking from Norway that had Roy Hodgson as their manager at the time. It was during Nathan Tyson’s prime and I had to try and keep up with him going full sprint!
So I think we have connections in that part of the world, they just look like they are getting stronger!

Serious illness doesn’t sound good. Wishing Anders a full and speedy recovery.

Didn’t Gary Goodchild use to take the youth team to Scandinavia for a tournament every year?

If Magnus has been injured and Anders ill (hope he gets better soon) then it might have been nice if the club had maybe said something, even just a snippet, it might have stopped a lot of the frustration and moaning from fans about their absence

Absolutely would ne nice, but its not as if withholding injury news from fans is a new Phenomenon and if Anders’ is battling a serious illness, then privacy is potentially paramount.

Also, is it me, or have we had a lot of players missing games this season because of illness being cited or have I just missed it before?

I remember back in the early 70s we would regularly play teams from Norway in friendlies for their preseason around feb March time.

Recently Kone, Low and GMac have missed games due to being ill. Maybe Dan Udoh too. It does seem like a lot.
