We played a friendly against St Vincent in December 2003. The night before the cup replay at Mansfield. I think StV won 1-0.

Thanks Steve. My memory of regular friendlies is a little off then!

There’s been a lot of covid about

Good spot @Floyd, I don’t have that on my list of international friendlies. It was the day after Mansfield, 17 December 2003, and the visitors won 2-1 in front of 300 at Adams Park. I like that the visitors were "knocking back bottles of booze in the freezing cold car park afterwards.

The only one that sticks in my mind is the Sting one, how good their strikers were and how poor our finishing was!

Also believe there is a fair amount of pneumonia about. Possibly the only time that my mother-in-law and Eddie Howe can be mentioned in the same breath.

I went to that, plenty of booze in the stands as well to keep warm.

Remember talk of Stuart Hole being a better cricketer than footballer.

Steve Dell getting schooled by the Caribbean’s finest must’ve been a sight. Presumably this was set up because of the town’s links to the islands. Should be a staple summer PSF with copious rum on offer.

Looks like we have been ditched. Perhaps we were too far up the pyramid and not romantic enough.

More fool them. They’ll be sorry next season when Westergaard turns into Laudrup and Dodds Guardiola.

It shouldn’t annoy me much but it does. A football club should be for life when you support them not for a couple of seasons of publicity stunt. What a desperate organisation they are.

I can understand the switch, it’s not the same romance supporting a club owned by a billionaire.

Testify.

increase revenues through merchandising opportunities.

“The project shows the ambitions of the football club to grow and create other partnerships"

Yeah, proper romance that

Not sure if it’s been mentioned on here but on the new academy social account Magnus Westergards Dad turned up to the academy game with his Wycombe shirt over his business shirt, sons name on back and a tray of Danish pastries for the players after the game. Nice touch.
