Kone takes quick throw-in and still makes it into the box for the return. Udoh and Kone look positive together. Who knew?

Feel like yet again the other team want it more but maybe I’m being too negative. The way they’re on every ball and general intensity. Will be very interesting to see what happens if/when one of the teams scores first.

Much more intent than any game I’ve seen from us recently.

Would like to see Humphries further up the pitch more often, though. Not sure that the right sided defensive half space makes use of literally any of his skillset.

But all said, infinitely better from us than the drab nothingness of the last few weeks.

Oh Jack, too often the play dies at your feet. Recent weeks have been crying out for a ball playing right sided defender.

Also doesn’t help that he’s actually a goal threat with his shooting l,movement and passing and we station him as far away from his most effective area as possible without playing him in goal.

Yeah he can make stuff happen from nothing and at the edge of the box and barely seen that recently.

Officiating is so bad. When the assistant is 5m from a defender stopping Fred getting the ball and the ref blows for a foul on them… The IQ levels of officials..

And we’re unlikely to from that starting position.

Noticeable that from a break a few mins ago Scowen was main support for Kone.

Like, why are our attacking players so deep that he’s closest to our CF on a fast breakaway?
