I always thought that there was an understanding that managers treated other clubs with respect. That's a very disrespectful comment by SE and the sort of thing the EFL/FA ought to be calling him out on.
If a player made that kind of comment to an opponent, within earshot of the referee, during a game. I'd like to think he'd call the player out.
As I recall it, when Leahy was down in the box being treated for his head injury against Stevenage...Evans insisted Taffs 'a good honest player' came up and said the ref was wrong and Stevenage should actually have been given a penalty.
Because, of course, a player seeing his teammate being treated at length on the pitch (for a 'head knock' remember) would take the time to commiserate with the opposing manager...and agree his own team needed to be penalised.
Just seen this thread! Must admit I've been not so relaxed and having ongoing attacks of the vapours for the last week or so thinking that the Gasroom might have been no more.....and then from the flames rises the Gasroom3.0!! Many thanks and kudos to the good @drcongo for his efforts keeping this place going for so long.

We’re amazing!
Here you go...
“There are one or two Wycombe players who I know personally and they know they have turned up with a balaclava today to take the points."

Doing the double this term has been a pleasure.
I think he meant to say "they turned up with a Baklava to distract me so that they could get the result."

All hail @OxfordBlue and @bluequarters for picking up the baton!
There's a pint in it for you in the Vere sometime (or maybe the Glass as it's £1.50 per pint cheaper!).
