Didcot are a Berks and Bucks affiliated club due to historical boundaries. They play in the B&B cup. Must be a pleasant diversion from them from playing a number of away league games in West Cornwall!
Now you've opened up a can of worms! The B & B FA used to be based in Abingdon, Oxon, for reasons unknown. Did that Town used to be in Bucks or Berks? They recently moved to Milton, just outside Didcot. Why didn't they move to one of their home counties, you may ask?
Historically a number of current Oxon sides have entered the B & B, maybe they used to be geographically in Bucks or Berks. The most extreme of these is probably Shrivenham, four miles from Swindon. It might be simpler if we had a combined Berks, Bucks and Oxon Cup!
Abingdon, where I now live, was traditionally the County Town of Berkshire and was part of Berks until the Local Government Act (1972) fiddled with Berkshire's northern boundaries so that when it came into effect at the start of 1974, Abingdon was shifted into Oxfordshire. Many of the older locals in the town still feel more affinity with Berkshire having been born and educated under the old administration.

Last night's semi-final results.
Beaconsfield Town 1-2 Flackwell Heath (HT 0-0).
A Michael Harding brace saw the Heathens through, with the winner on 90+5.
Bracknell Town 2-1 MK Academy (HT 1-0).
The final is on Tuesday 8th April at Didcot Town FC, Oxfordshire.
Why is the Berks and Bucks cup final in Oxon?

Worse for those west Cornwall teams to be fair!
@Steve_Peart the Berks & Bucks FA used to be in Faringdon didn't it? We got called to attend there once and I asked them for an overnight stay.
If Wikipedia is to be believed, it's Flackwell's first time reaching the final, with Bracknell having one once and been runner up twice.
Really pleased it's a non MK final. Seems like they've been in it more often than not recently.
Yes, that rings a bell, another Oxon location for them.

There's several Oxon teams in the North Berkshire League i think.
Final moved to Slough

The need to explain that the B & B covers Oxon suggests there was pushback from the two clubs.
The Vale of White Horse is a new one on me. Maybe why they loved going to that pub so much?
Named after White Horse Hill near Uffington.
Such a pity Adams Park couldn't stage the B & B Cup Final on a proper grass pitch. Flackwell Heath would get great support as well at Adams Park.
They will get great support in Slough.
I shall give the Huddersfield game a miss and go support The Heathens.
