We still don’t look like scoring or dominating as we did earlier on in the season and that’s my concern. Stockport away seems such a long time ago now. Bloomfield was Danish.
We've just looked cowards. So many times we chose to send a weak FK in, a terrible short throw. Long gone are the days where at 90 mins we throw the cavalry up and think we can do it
It can work in unusual desperation games you're trying an all out shut v a better team and trying to nick one from a set piece...most games aren't like that though.
Birmingham miles ahead of everyone in the league in terms of general play, set up and game management. That being said we had the best 2 chances of the game and end up losing. Whatever Doddys said at 30 mins had an instant impact on how we went about it so there are some positives to take from this.
Sometimes you just have to accept you've been beaten by the better team. We played OK second half, but that Birmingham defence gave absolutely nothing away.
No need for any negativity IMO. Burton at home on Tuesday is a massive game though and one we must win. Kone has to start.
Set up badly, subs too slow but really decent effort in the end with ten against top of the league, support in the stadium and at the end was brilliant regardless of what goes on here.
£35 to stand up on stairs because they oversold or badly organised while the only steward in sight seemed to be filming a documentary is a new low for our noveau riche division.

If we're serious about the Championship, there will be a lot more games like this against huge clubs.

Have to give him credit, Allsop has had a good game and has done really well for himself since getting dropped for Stockdale in the Championship
Sponsored stoppage time 🤢
Is it wrong that it's a spirited performance against, potentially one of the best league 1 teams ever. By points at end of season.

F/T Wrexham 0 Bolton 0.
you mean any yellow cards?
Considering Wrexham could have won and we looked like conceding a cricket score at half time, this isn’t a bad outcome at all.
Just a shame we’ve lost two players.
Could have done without that Wrexham 97th min free kick being so close last min, but at least they've thrown 2 points away v Bolton.
Can we nick it in the extra 8mins?
Huge bonus that one. Seeing them draw level today would have been a psychological blow
Still 8mins left today though, to steal something.

Feared a 98th min red for Kone there for a second!
That would have just topped off a really costly defeat personnel wise!
Allsopp has made a decent fist of his career since being too limited for us. 😁
Not sure that's even a foul, let alone a yellow.
I really have no idea on what's a foul nowadays
Birmingham streets ahead of us today. Let's hope no-one else is for the rest of the season.
Birmingham are clearly better. But, we weren't that bad.
Yep, Birmingham are a bit good, but we played well all things considered. Just not at all convinced by Norris.
Fought quite well second half. But not a great spectacle.
Glad we don't have to play them every week. A class side.

Kudos to Dodds as that was one of the most intelligent 10-man performances by a Wycombe side I can remember

Birmingham tried to shut it out, and they did. But, we did try, so I'm not sure we can say they didn't show anything.
But, Birmingham are a class apart in this league. And our team is mainly free transfers, journeymen or exciting young prospects.
We rattled their cage a bit in the second half, but you've got to come out of the blocks like that. We were still on the bus.

Valiant second half. No issues with that. Good job Bolton saved our bacon.
Negatives are obvious - looks like we'll be without Simons for 3 games and Harvie could be any period.
Positives - ticked off the hardest game left, made a decent crack of it in tough circumstances.
Got Reach a full appearance (with the extra time), as he'll be needed going forward.
Wrexham drawing.
And looking at Wrexham's games, their next 5 are tough!
Huddersfield, Reading and us away, and Stockport home in there too.
In a way it is better than if we had drawn and Wrexham had won.
Overhearing the Brum fans on the way out, they seem like a right cocky bunch. Not surprised tbh.
