Yup...we're paying 37 million in interest on loans...close that bloody money-pit canteen. Gawd success comes at a price dunnit?
'In those figures included a £10.4million pay-off to former boss Erik ten Hag upon his dismissal from the club in October, while ex-sporting director Dan Ashworth, who spent only five months in the role before being dispensed with, was paid a £4million severance in what was a staggeringly wasteful financial move from United.
Among the details in the quarterly report showed a net finance cost of £37.6million, a sum related to interest on club borrowing, and one that took United’s net cumulative interest paid since the Glazers acquired the club in controversial circumstances back in 2005, to over £1billion, as per football finance expert Kieran Maguire.
We all know the Glaziers are leeches and have no interest in the club other than to acquire wealth.
They have very little opportunity of getting rid of players this summer or next as they only have 6 senior players out of contract before May 2027. Could be even more payoffs this summer. Marcus Rashford still has three years left on his contract come July worth £50M.
I think we are seeing the end of them being a force in the Premier league, let alone Europe. I would be surprised if they qualify for the Champions League again for at least 5 years.
With Man City looking down a smoking barrel we could see Liverpool dominate for quite a few years, maybe even Arsenal.
Wrexham currently 0-0 after 20 minutes in their Vertu Trophy semi final. It would be perfect if they were forced to play a full 120 mins plus pens before they have to play again at 12.30 on Saturday...
I wonder if Man U fancy buying Ravizzoli off us for £10m. Onana having another shocker. They'd have been better off keeping one of the catering staff and sticking them in goal.
Goes straight to pens? I think it’s written in stone that Birmingham must win the FL Trophy whenever they’re in the third tier so not much point any other side turning up at Wembley, even if they are the current holders or Hollywood FC.
Admittedly, I’ve only watched Wrexham four or five times this season plus a few highlight reels. However, I am consistently coming to the same conclusion that their goalkeeper is really poor. His box management is shaky and his shot stopping is a bit wayward. He pushes the ball back into danger areas. He also has a tendency to be indecisive on rushing out vs staying on his line, as shown in giving away that penalty last night. I would do everything we can to expose him when we play them.

Assume it was a re-arranged game so doesn't feature on there?
Think that happened with one of our games we all assumed would be featured?
For re-arranged fixtures the home club can decline to show it on Now/Sky

It beggars belief that any Utd fan goes to games while the Glazers are still there.
Stadium should be empty every week

5 years time? A team closer to home might be bossing the Premier League. hem hem.....
Yes, on present showing Man U look like an Aston Villa style outfit, hanging around mid-table with the odd push to top half.
Oh how they must rue losing out on the Super League...
Not sure Slot's methods will carry on being as successful as they have been this season...and he has an aging team angling for new contracts.
I still reckon Man City will be second this season. Pep rebuild for next term.
Arsenal will do what Arsenal always do. Close but no cigar.
But bear in mind, I have predicted we will beat Birmingham 2-0.

Some Peterborough fans claim that Wrexham will win as the powers that be want them at Wembley for the final.
Nothing to do with Peterborough being shit, then.
It would, but how many of their team tonight are usual starters?
Just the 4 I believe.
About half
Wrexham will probably be allowed to win on an obscure and spurious goals per game rule.
Hopefully a trip to Wembley will make Wrexham lose focus on the league.

Goes straight to pens after 90.
That aged well
Get out Hollywood. Last couple of pens from Peterborough were magnificent.
I'm pleased for Alan Swann. I know he has issues with us but at least he really cares.
A thumb down. Somebody needs to watch Alan Watts on YouTube talking about compassion.
Alan Swann (wash my mouth out with bleach) is a t**t, plain and simple.
I know, but in a few months we'll only play them again if they get lucky in a cup draw. It's time to be magnanimous in victory!

... and he's on £14k a week
Is he on loam or something like when we had Blackman in?
Or just insane wage paying?
I think they signed him from Arsenal after a loan didn't they?
