To be fair Morrisons turnover around £15bn , quite small beer compared to Tesco £66bn in the UK alone.
The idea that Morrison will sell a site in a prosperous town in the SE seems a bit fanciful unless there is reason to believe it is not doing well there.
It won't happen, but I think it's as realistic a location as any in the town centre. The topography is not our friend - what a silly place to put a town!
I know @bargepole . Amusing as it was. Actually with quite a lot of central fixed costs , the average store contributes a fair bit more than the figure you suggested.
The sheer scale of the Supermarket industry is often not appreciated.
Tesco , Sainsbury and Morrisons sales in the UK total as much as the total State spend on education and that’s before you add in Asda, Lidl, Aldi, M&S Waitrose and online Ocado.
Of every £10 spent in all UK shops, roughly £1.20 is spent in Tesco alone.
if any new stadium is built in the HW area, it will almost certainly be alongside the M40 and with much bigger capacity than AP. Obvious issues are green belt and sheer cost and with the crisis in the leisure industry , it would be much harder now to “pay for” the stadium by value created by a surrounding leisure park.
He posted on social media criticising people celebrating the attacks in a demonstration.
I can't find the social media posts of the person who called for a boycott of WWFC, but from what I can remember it was from an account with some ridiculous handle like "Wycombe Muslim FA" trying to confer some legitimacy to themselves. I'm guessing the post was deleted as I can't seem to find it anywhere, but from what I can remember it sounded like their goal was to target and harass JJ simply for being Jewish as I very much doubt they would have singled out any non-Jewish players criticising people for celebrating such an abhorant atrocity.
If anyone with a better memory (or even screenshots) can correct me, please do.
So we’re buying out and bulldozing Morrisons with ‘Hello Boss’ announced as the new matchday caterers. Loyal fans of Charlie and Dennis turn up to the grand opening with pitchforks. Meanwhile, the smart money is on Booker air park or the middle of nowhere (Lane End or Lacey Green).

Typo, I meant £970,000,000.

That is what you call "creative accounting"
I thought it was called Derby Counting

Does every social media post criticising attacks on Israeli civilians have to be caveated like that?
Muppets. I'd love to see examples of this supposed "arrogance" of the club.
Was gonna say.
If they were only making 20k profit per store we could probably have a gasroom whip round to cover the Wycombe one to build the Lommy stade.

Common sense? Forward thinking planning? You must not have spent much time in the UK of late.
Worth watching the time lapse video of the building of Everton's new stadium🏟
