James Berry is 38.
Xavier Simons not yet announced.
Xavier should really be 10
Just a massive X on his back.
Shirts would look so much cooler with Roman numerals
Although the lineup announcements might go something like this https://youtu.be/Rn1o_GojZWo?feature=shared
Xavier is wearing 7 in the pictures with David Wheeler.
When do we have to release the squad 22?
The false IX?
I believe that was either Monday at midnight (after the transfer window had closed) or early morning on Tuesday
The winter deadline is usually within 24 hours of the window closing, so they should be available to view soon.
One thing I've noticed is that the club focus a lot on publishing stories / articles on the website but very little in keeping it up to date. The squad page doesn't feature any of the new signings and doesn't acknowledge those that have left (either on loan or permanent).
It appears that they are still trying to sell off some sponsorship for those players no longer at the club too
According to rule 44.9, clubs must submit squad lists within 24 hours of transfer window shutting. They will be published by EFL within seven days.
I make it we have a squad of 19.
We’ve signed 12 players and six have departed in a month (not to mention a change in manager/head coach). That’s an awful lot of work for any media department, let alone a media department who have never seen previously that level of activity.
I get that & the media department have been excellent in putting video's together when the signing have been announced. However, not all of these signings have been happening at one time (yes, a lot happened during Monday) but that didn't stop them from making a video about them? They also show the player(s) having pictures being taken so why not post one of those and cut & paste the summary of the player onto that page. If their profile needs to be improved, they can also edit & improve them as it goes on.
Our media department is one of the best in the lower leagues.
Maybe they are reading your posts, because I just checked and it's all up to date now
And for that we should give credit to Matt Cecil - a Wycombe fan himself before becoming a club employee - and Phil Catchpole (@bluntphil) also a fan first. It shows quite clearly in the way they present themselves that it's more than a just a job to them both, although they are never less than professional when doing their duties in march days.
I'm sure there are others helping them too.
I looked at the details for a media job at the club once...but the amount of work required meant I would hardly ever see any actual football (and have to be dressed smartly!) so I have great respect for those working so diligently at a club where they would quite like to watch some of the game!
When I was head of media I would definitely have given you a job if only for your wry and amusing observations of matters WWFC and life in general.
'Who was the one that looked like he'd been dragged through a hedge? Definitely not...'
Still a few missing like; Norris, Beck & Reach. But yes, it is an improvement to what was there this morning
Can't see Lowry either
I expect they keep in step with military precision.
