Suspect a few of the younger fringe players may be getting loaned out again, presumably to non-league as the EFL did away with the loan window til March thing a few years back didn't it?
Wow, as a result of this window we could field the following and still have Caleb Taylor on the bench. That's a pretty crazy month's worth of action, not to mention recruiting a new head coach too!
Will Norris
Fin Back Anders Hagelskjær Sonny Bradley Adam Reach
In all the excitement (well, for most people) of this incredible transfer window, let’s not forget the best news of all…..the King is still a Chairboy!
As Steve Cooper found, you can never have too many players. Given that except for a couple of sub appearances for the Danes none of the recent signings have played yet...I assume they are going to run our old gits into the ground and then replace them all en mass for the run-in.
The man has taken a load of abuse on here but now is the time I believe we should give credit to Dan Rice. Turned down massive bids for Kone and Lowe. Brought back Taylor and an array of new signings to push for promotion. Clearly Morley would have been the icing on the cake but we will never know how much Bolton wanted for him. Obviously if we don’t get promoted, in some posters minds , it will all be down to Dan Rice.
A Carlisle fan comments on Fin Back, for what it’s worth:
He was good in his first season with us.
But he is made of glass. He started picking up lots of long injuries. He’d recover from one then come back for a game then pick up another one. Then we signed him on loan again last season and the same thing happened, more long injury layoffs.
One striking thing about this picture is we appear to have signed 12 players this month who are all white. I only mention this as one of the big criticisms of AI at the moment is that it is trained on data that favours white men (overwhelming the people doing the programming and historically the people who most of literature is written about). It's a particular issue in medicine but it's important to be on guard in other areas too to make sure data sets don't discriminate.
Funny how people were dreading this window and claiming how weak we would look in February.
I said in September it was the strongest Wycombe squad I’ve ever seen. It is now even stronger and I’d say we can now field the best Wycombe starting eleven I’ve ever seen.
Don't think Dan Rice got abuse @davecz but he might have had Kone and Low been moved on. I'm intrigued to see how all the new signings fit in with the new coach's plans.

Back
Simons
Taylor recalled then loaned back
losing Morley
Taff, Butcher, Hanlan and Hartridge loaned
Bishop leaving
Bloomfield leaving

Refusing multiple bids for Low, Kone
January has been absolutely nuts
Did I miss anything?
Seems like the Morley successor, but let's see what Doddsy decides
And hopefully less brittle than the last player we signed from Hull
Can I go to bed yet?
Any news on Mehmeti?
The craziest transfer window in living memory. Let's go and get promoted.
"He'll pick his mates"

I feel like Norris and Simons are the only ones ready to go straight into the starting 11, although the latter is cup tied.
Fin Back has played lots of Premier League 2 football this season (thank you FotMob!) so I’d expect he’ll start at Preston.
Nicely done

I haven't been paying attention to the rest of the league - have we just had a bigger window than the two Hollywood clubs?
Could the team for Saturday be ...
Norris
Back
Anders
Bradley
Taylor
Simons
Lowry
Westergaard
Reach
Berry
Kone
(I joke)

Still no hot water in the FA
Not forgetting (I almost did) Joe Low.
So assuming no changes on the injury front Saturday could look like:
Norris; Back, Low, Bradley, Reach; Scowen Backinson, Humphreys; Fred, Kone, Bez.
Or eleven other players!
A useful visual aid for those (like me) struggling to keep up

Could have got a pic of Bradley in a Wycombe shirt!
What a squad. Did I just break through into another dimension? Bizarre.
They’re the pictures used when the signings were first revealed.
Birmingham haved signed somebody from South Korea.
Which is something I suppose.
Yes but only if Bradley red card appeal is successful.
🎵We got Sonny (do do do do do do)
Magnus and Anders (do do do do do do)
Richard Kone’s still a blue
And we still got Joe Low too 🎵

If he can stay fit he’s good. Big if.
