I understand Carlisle have money and hence there is significant potential there if they get it right. Maybe though the owner is making that difficult. Either way results have been poor and their league position parlous. Perhaps not too surprising that MW got fired. Wouldn't be surprising to see a quick appointment....
They've signed 8 players this month, presumably to fit Williamson's passing style, and have fired him on the last day of the window. Doesn't scream joined up thinking.
Looks a god signing. My only worry is, it's another player like the Danes and Lowry who'll be short of fitness, having not played since last season seemingly. Will be a good few weeks before he's ready I'd think. Best of luck to him though, a versatile player with plenty of experience will be very useful.
Seems like he was keeping his options open for a Championship move, which is why we've signed him so late. Good news, he'll be at a Championship club next season
Could be a multitude of reasons I guess. Having spoken to and worked for one Professional footballer that doesn’t have a club at the moment, he says he’s in a fortunate position that he can pick and choose if he signs with a club and only do so if they really want him rather than make up the numbers.
McCleary came to us after a good few months without a club and he hit the ground running - in the division above - so he could soon get up to speed if he's been keeping himself fit. I'm sure he's been training with someone.

In terms of joined up thinking we’ve signed four players without even having a manager/head coach.

Apparently interested in Owen Dale
The GIF is out!
“Will now…reach…” it’s Will Norris with his big reach!
no thanks...not what we need
Transfer Gif Warning!!!!
A new coach is inheriting an entire squad. Four new faces in the building doesn't make much difference one way or the other.
Will Norris make a big difference?
Or Will Norris will make a big difference?
Transferring to Bluesky from X
BIt more literal of a clue...Adam Reach
Reach for the stars 🌟
Get in!!!!! Great positional coverage. Great experience. And another left footed player. That’s exactly the sort of player I thought we needed.
Left Winger / LB.
Interesting
Always nice in this day and age for a signing to come as a surprise. That's a great pick-up, surprised he's been without a club for so long.
looks like a great signing but on face of it looks like a left winger ? do we really need another one ? was hoping for a central playmaker
Coverage on the left so we stop putting leahy back there.
I’m assuming he’s LB cover/competition. Good start to the day.
Long day ahead!

With the signings we have now made. I'm assuming we are going to have a pretty hefty clear out in the summer.
I think he’s a versatile player who has filled a number of different positions for his various clubs. Tall, left footed and experienced. Good signing.
I wonder why he did not have a club for first half of season. Injured perhaps?

Yes, played almost everywhere except striker for West Brom. Useful signing

Maybe Reach is/was in a similar position.
