I read the January window ‘loan re-call’ period has now expired… Is that true? Are our loans now safe until the end of the season? Cam and Gids especially are going to be pivotal I imagine for our promotion push.
I've looked through the FA regulations and can't see anything that says this.
53.2.2
Subject to the proviso that the duration of a Standard Loan must be the time between two Transfer Windows, Standard Loans can be for half a Season or a full Season. Any recall clause requiring the early termination of a Standard Loan can only be included in a full Season Standard Loan and this can only be activated during the second (January) Transfer Window. Any other early termination of a Standard Loan must be by way of a mutual agreement in writing (including by way of a recall clause within the Standard Loan Agreement) between both Clubs and the Player but can only be completed after the expiry of 28 days and only during a Transfer Window.
I think loan contracts have this specified individually, player joins on loan until X date with an option to recall between a and b, don't think it applies to all players en masse
Matt Butcher starts for Bristol Rovers against Posh in what could be a very important game in the relegation battle. Hopefully he hits the ground running.
I'm sure EFL used to allow loans until March but haven't for a while which is a shame. Do hope some of the fringe players get loans at a decent level though since there has been so much incoming in January.

if so , means Imray not coming to us
Loans are still permitted, what I read and am unclear on is loan recalls ie Ipswich can’t recall Cam now.

(They lost 1-0 but apparently he kept them in it...it may be Potters Bar aren't very good.)
