Glad this thread has been revived. Need to go back 20+ years for my international favourite: "5-1, even Heskey scored" after England's legendary victory in Munich. Also on an international theme, the perennial "cheer up {Scotland manager}..." always raises a smile.

'ooh Terry Evans!' is a lyrical masterpiece, still played on 'Absolute Nineties' at least once a day.
'ooh er Andy Kerr' gets less coverage disappointingly

"Put your hand up if you're an idiot" always made me laugh when the ref gave an indirect freekick!
I was always amused by the chant “ Can you hear the Gurnum Singh” whenever he ref'd a game
I loved the one from the Terrace where it would go quiet and one guy would shout
"Everybody, shout Abuse at the keeper"
To the reply of "ABUSE!"
Then the guys shouts
"Everyone, shout More Abuse at the keeper"
To the reply of "MORE ABUSE!"
(Then real abuse would start for a few seconds)
Borderline genius
Many....but a team from Cornwall playing a team from Devon and the crowd singing 'You dirty Northern bastards' has stuck in the mind.
Have met him several times and he is a a really nice chap - completely at odds to my impression of him when I stood on the terrace back in the day..
