I think people need to understand there is a lot of fake nonsense going around. This is clearly fake nonsense, as the poster even put himself. There is zero credibility in the source whatsoever so sharing just give credence to it.
There's a few different approaches in this thread. But in hindsight, probably didn't need us all to have a little say, so we all move on as gasroom buds again.
We're all on the same side so no drama. As mentioned I acknowledged the quality of the source in my original post so I don't think I need to hang my head in shame.
I guess one thing that could make this Twitter post interesting is that accounts like this could be used as a vector by which agents generate noise in order to generate genuine interest, you never know.
It definitely feels like legit links come out online a lot earlier than they used to do.
With Gaz we'd be able to unleash a signing seemingly out of nowhere, whereas now, we tend to get someone like Peter O Rourke or the guy who broke those Danish signings having info well before.
The out of contract bit isn't as important at his age though is it? We'll still get a fee, and I think it was @Otter87 on another thread saying the tribunal would set the fee as the same as the official bid, as long as we'd offered a contract that had been rejected?
If he was 25 it'd be a huge risk turning down big money now
What’s the accuracy rating of the canonical Twitter transfer rumour feeds? And is there an xSomething for it?
Most seem to operate on the principle of the great quote about former LibDem treasury bloke Vince Cable, who successfully predicted 11 of the last two recessions.
It would only be a very small percentage - less than 10% I believe so it wouldn't be such an amount to worry about.
I do wonder if the club believe they will pocket more from a tribunal and only give BC a 10% fee from that or sell now and give BC an agreed sell-on from the transfer....? (Or did we sign Low on a free? I can't remember...)
It's reported that he missed most of training this week with illness and isn't ready for the game, which is why he's out. Stand down panic stations people!
The positive is that he became ill when the fixtures spread out a bit. Would have been a nightmare if his 2 week missing period was when we had 5 games!

You have a point in a way, but you even said in your first post it was "likely made up nonsense".
So it has to be asked if it needed to be posted, or whether using your own idea above, just scrolling past it yourself.
Or of course, you could all not just pile on someone for making a mistake like a bunch of fucking bullies.

So after that had already been mentioned, you felt you needed to mention it a further 3 times in a much ruder way? And of course @Malone joined in.
@Malone being contrary? Quelle surprise!
You yourself judged what the chap had written as a "mistake", which he doesn't acknowledge himself.
So you're being just as judgey as claiming others are being.
That's exactly the same, isn't it.
I was actually trying to take a lighter approach and show the fella why others had pounced on it - when you post a rumour saying it's nonsense etc.
But never mind.
Judgy, to save @micra the job.

Tough week, everyone?
Yikes.
Such was the acrity to passify our leader, I've made a reeeeaaal horlicks there.
Quickly let's post on a lot of other threads and keep this down the list before micra arrives.

Sorry if my post was a bit spiky. Twitter accounts of that nature are just so unbelievably frustrating.
Joe Low would walk into this Swansea team. Thankfully he’s not.
Let's hope this result doesn't panic them into a really bid big even our owners can't reject
I don’t know. Seven figures for a player out of contract in a few months is good business.
Depends on whether we can get 25 games out of Sonny Bradley and what’s the situation with Taff is.
He’s not in the 18 today so we can resume our panic stations.

Don't Bristol City get some of any tribunal fee?

Yes you're right, subject to some unknown percentage of the fee - but whether it's tribunal or sold now.
It would only be a very small percentage - less than 10% I believe so it wouldn't be such an amount to worry about.

I think it was a free transfer, but couldn't tell you anything beyond that.
What feels sure though is our management are proper ruthless business men who will certainly know what's the best approach money wise.

Good point! Well lets just hope we aren't being fed a story to cover up for something else going on
Either way Bradley coming in was absolutely impeccable timing.
Deal with the Low illness, allow New Danish fella 1 to bed in and also give Skura a proper solid pro to work off.
Thank you, appreciated. I’m grumpier than usual thanks to Dan Rice being a slimy shit.
