What did they know when it was decided the team for this game would be lead by Sam Grace with Matt in attendance?
(I'm pretty certain that was stated on the club website, when they said the squad was unlikely to include first team regulars. It appears to have been removed/rewritten or I imagined it).
I think MB said in an interview he would be there, but as @Brownie says, I think SG has always led in this comp, which makes sense when it is going to be a team of triallists and dev squad players
I thought by asking something that we already knew - while suggesting a conspiracy theory in the background - might take the edge off the morning a little.
Limited parking at the ground otherwise park at the services (max 3 hours). For the adventurous park on Windsor End Beaconsfield Old Town by the rugby club and walk over the motorway via footbridge - bring a torch!
Parking at services is free for 3 hours, however when you click on the charges link on the Welcome Break site, it says charge applies after 2 hours, and costs £15 for 2-24 hours.
Will be a strange atmosphere tonight! Have fun all that go, not sure I can make it. No idea how many we'll bring?! But as advised, get there early if you want a spot near the ground. COYB!
I'm going. Note that, to get to the road alongside the club, from Beaconsfield or HW/M40, you turn left into Services, go right round the roundabout, back to the A355 and turn right at the lights, and then immediately left.
I remember watching us beat Chalfont AET (Junior Morias scored the winner) in this competition a few years back. Dog of a pitch at Mill Meadow but we still risked Scott Rendell, who scored at least once, possibly twice. God speed, Captain Hartridge. May the 4G be with you tonight.

I know I don’t normally do match day threads for this competition, but I felt like some of us could use a distraction at the moment.
Has to be said one of the better badges.

Could be a busy few days for Sam, presuming he will take caretaker charge on Saturday. Maybe Vokesy as assistant
Fairly certain the last time we played in this competition, Sam Grace also led the teams then too?

Is it parking in the services and walk over?

Perhaps I was wrong.

When the club car park fills up, cars park on the road outside, narrow though it is.

Can’t make it to Beaconsfield but there’s a live stream for £5.50.
No idea if there’s commentary or just video.
Another proud night for Mr & Mrs Trialist?
Poor Hartridge!
Hartridge plays for Wycombe again AND captains the side. Some people won't be happy.
oh dear Hartridge. Pretty much sums up where he’s headed.
Going? Looks like you’re starting
Any danes?

Hats off to the Beaconsfield Town steward who changed the wheel of a friend's car, who had a puncture outside the ground. Fantastic service!
