It's most certainly not a "bunch of nothing" I'm afraid @Erroll_Sims - it's being reported on Sky, The Guardian etc as a done deal. It'll almost certainly be announced in the next day or two.
Can only imagine he didn't actually read those 442 posts (despite saying they said the same thing) which have intricately followed the development of the story from wild rumour through to imminency.
RM also had moderate success with Franchise in league one and Swansea in the Championship. Like MB, RM didn’t hang around too long at each club he coached. He may feel that after a blot on his CV with a premier league relegation that restarting his career for ( maybe ) a few months back in league 1 might be a sensible move.
Do you think he'd want to stay if it was say Russell Martin, or someone he's worked with before?
If he didn't mind leaving with us top 2, with a guy like Bloomfield, who I can only imagine is a delight to work under, surely the championship ambition will override any appointment we make?
If anything, the uncertainty would probably take the any doubt he had away?
I am not just trying to senselessly bash the guy, but he finished 19th and 13th with MK and then 15th and 10th with Swansea. Certainly not embarrassing, but I am struggling to see what jumps off the page there. The year on year improvement, I suppose? Still very midtable.
I guess for me he reminds me of the Oxford 'stats' before we beat them in the playoff final. Winning with GA and being called anti-football was more fun than I imagine midtable plus 'plaudits' would be.
On the whole I find the musings of journalists only marginally less unreliable than the odds setting of bookies, but that is me. I fully accept others experience & mileage may differ.
The salient points underpinning my post were
a) none of you are insiders so everything is speculation
b) if it is genuinely a done deal & he goes to LTFC then of course we have the right to ask why he felt this was the right time when he had over 17 months left on his current contract, thouvh I wont hold my breath on anyone at the club telling us; and Blooms is too respectable to disclose the details until he writes his memoirs.
In all honesty, I'm not even sure why we're discussing Russell Martin? Yes, he had a poor season with Southampton, but I'd be baffled if he dropped back to League 1 within a few months.
The first part seems absolutely done and dusted, to not believe this is very odd.
The second part I expect we'll only find out about in Bloomfield's autobiography in 20 years after England win the world cup with him as manager.( I forget which poste seemed to think that's his trajectory!)
True - despite my feelings, he should be able to land somewhere higher up than us (even abroad?) because he plays a fashionable style and does have solid second tier experience.
Hmm… Claus Norgaard kind of makes those puzzle pieces come together given the mentions here and on twitter, and the two signings (one incoming). Is that Danske Bank office still there on the A40 Loudwater end of town? Probably some key staff getting their UK accounts sorted for a Dane invasion.

Bloomin heck, is this for real or some kind of skit 🤣

Every club interested in Kone will know if he has a buy out clause. That’s what his agent is for. I’m not sure he has a buy out clause.
Strangest ever Gasroom rant? Or just in the denial phase of grief when we have all moved on to acceptance?

Don't read the "shit" then.

There's 2 parts to this.
Bloomfield to Luton.
Reasons for doing so.
The first part seems absolutely done and dusted, to not believe this is very odd.

If you're Russ Martin's agent, you're doing this all wrong 😂
His agent will just talk about that 56-pass move and clubs will be racing to the printer for the contract.
Do you not want to be a rich man's Forest Green?
Reports from Sky and the Guardian (the latter from Ben Fisher, the best EFL journo around imo) are not speculation!
It’s going to be a Scandinavian guy we’ve never heard of who played at step 3 in Iceland.
Maybe a carnivore's Forest Green!
Come on @glasshalffull your silence on all this is deafening (& telling?).
Help us out here. Any truth in Claus Norgaard already lined up as our new head coach?
Chakhokhbilivore
Touche!
Nope.
Not sure anyone said Norgaard was lined up unless I've missed something? Wasn't this just a suggestion based on us liking Danes?

Personally, I find hard not to wince at the thought of Matt waving at the Luton away support as they sing about Tommy Robinson.
More like we aim to do a Brentford, so appointing their Assistant Manager makes sense.
Good luck to Matt.
I've seen Schumacher mentioned a few times and I'd love that to be true. He turned down a championship job recently so I'm not sure he'd come here.
A Wycombe manager and assistant both from Kirkby though is nearly as good as drawing Everton in the FA Cup!
They’re not going to like the rainbow laces are they?
