Well if they are looking for a manager who lost more than he won at MK, lost the same number as he won at Swansea and would have lost more than he won at Southampton if allowed to complete the season, only manage to finish in the top nine once in six seasons and even then be bottom of the three teams relegated from the Prem the season before, then Russell’s your man.
MB needs to show he can effectively turn around difficult patches before being ready obviously ready for a higher level. Given our budget and relatively lower relative expectations, probably objectively better to stay where he is.
Did wonder whether Schumacher would return to Plymouth but wonder if it’s taken too long to appoint if that were the case. Can’t see a return for Ryan Lowe given the issues that lead to his departure first time. Appointment expected tomorrow apparently.
