  • His published height is either 189 or 190 cms, between 6' 2" and 6' 3". He is 20 years old now. From videos I have seen, he is very agile with very quick reflexes.

  • Luca Woodhouse starts for Dagenham against Wimbledon on ITVX (Josh Umerah and Junior Morias also start, with Ben Strevens managing them, so quite the Wycombe connection).

  • 9 minutes added time in the first half due to ref pulling a leg muscle & needing to be replaced.

Daggers are 1 up with Morais getting their goal & good value for the lead.

  • Ward and Bartolo have had it tough at Weymouth who also sacked their manager this week. With no permanent boss they lost 1-0 to Tonbridge Angels this weekend but apparently looked better than they did under the previous boss, so hopefully a good appointment will bring the best out of the duo.

  • I thought they'd both been doing well, hasn't Ward picked up a couple MoM's ?

  • Yeah but lacking goals as there's no creativity in the team behind them. If you read the Weymouth forum they're constantly complaining that there's no service to the attackers and the previous manager just brought in a load of his mates who aren't good enough, so it's a big job for the next manager to get them creating.

  • 2 assists for Bartolo as Weymouth beat Yeovil in the FA Trophy

  • Really want him to become our number 1 purely for the song opportunities

  • Surely "Sha-La-La-La-La" by Walkers, later covered by Vengaboys? Or Sha La La by The Shirelles, covered by Manfred Mann.

  • Ooh Shala by Faces

  • Bartolo went off injured at the weekend but is on the bench today. Injury mustn't've been too bad but still enough to not risk starting him. But I hope he and Ward return to Wycombe in January and perhaps go on loan to sides not rooted to the bottom of the National League South, they need to be at a side that's in a good place to use them in a positive system which they can thrive in, not a team scrapping foor whatever points they can get or attempting damage limitation.

  • Luca Woodhouse has returned from his loan spell at Dagenham & Redbridge, where made 18 appearances.

  • Luca played very well at LB for the Daggers, let's hope he gets to continue his development with a loan to a L2 club for the second half of the season

  • Interesting thread on X from the WWFC Loan Watch account reviewing the efforts of the many Wycombe players out on loan during the first half of the season.

From reading that it looks like Woodhouse, Young and Matton have stood out.

On Young’s time at Dorking (so far) it says: “Young swapped one Wanderers for another, and quickly made a name for himself, scoring a brace on his first start for the club. Since then, he’s started most matches becoming our most prolific loan. He boasts a staggering 7.1 average Sofascore rating, and is certainly one of, if not the best performing loan so far this season.”

Probably too late for Young to make his mark at Wycombe now, given neither Gareth Ainsworth or Matt Bloomfield have been willing to give him a chance to stake a claim - even in Trophy matches. Strange given the three year contract the club gave him.

Its even stranger given he’s had three successful loans at Ayr, Wealdstone and now Dorking with fans of all three clubs giving him a big thumbs up.

He’s probably the player on our books that’s most like Aaron Morley in terms of his playing style but it doesn’t seem that he’ll get any chance to prove that he could be Morley’s replacement (if he goes back to Bolton) as he’s injured for a month.

I think we’ll see him released in the summer and plying his trade in the National League, probably somewhere closer to home next season.

  • Weymouth fans think Bartolo's loan ends tomorrow which might explain why he was only on the bench for the last two games after his knock a couple of weeks ago.

  • Turns out the loan is at least until this weekend as the pair both played in the FA Trophy loss to Boreham Wood.

  • Only Woodhouse seems to be pulling up any trees. Still 20 definitely a poss future backup in a back three at LCB and LWB to Harvie in a four.

  • Matton and Dotse are back from Bracknell. I get the impression they did quite well there but you'd hope so at such a low level.

Brody Peart seems to be impressing at Basingtoke.

  • Confirmed by Weymouth that Ward and Bartolo have returned to Wycombe. Hopefully get loaned out again to clubs in better positions to help their development cos Weymouth was not it

  • Jack Young will stay at Dorking till the end of the season.
