It's one thing to not hold a player back in the summer, but all players should understand clubs don't particularly like sabotaging their own season halfway through. Rich is an excellent lad, and I bet he comprehends that.
It would be a massive statement of lack of intent to sell our striker in the thick of a promotion race.
If Birmingham and Wrexham don't put in an offer will anyone above us really buy a young striker with only half a good L1 season under his belt in January?
Yes, people do it all the time, very big money for us might just be a punt for someone else in previous years, hopefully we have moved on a bit since and everyone is aware what a promotion could be worth. Same with Morely much speculation and discussion, everyone has their price but it should be huge for the King.
We have the money to keep them. The only thing we don't have is the prestige. So when Man City completely lose the plot and come in for Kone we'll have to let him go.
As much as none of us want to lose Kone, we've got so many goals throughout the team, which hasn't necessarily been the case in recent years. It's great to see.

Definitely maybe.
Yes, it's a mini-league for second with us, Wrexham and Huddersfield. Someone could drop out, but I have a hard time seeing anyone else joining.
We don't have to sell Kone, anyway. We have him under contract to 2026, right? He can at least wait until the summer for any big move.
As the seven all fouls statistic suggests.
Gasroom panic will be off the charts come 5pm tonight. You can’t control what happens so just enjoy the ride.
Absolutely.
We need something to stop the No Morley = down the Rye in 4 seasons motive.
Is Morley looking disinterested in the first of his last games? Or smiling like man who has seen ML open his chequebook?
I hope so, but I fear we may be strengthening the squad in January with the money we get for Kone.
Sometimes you have the joy of watching someone play and it's clear they are on a steeper trajectory than Wycombe.
Bring all of your money and borrow some more if you want him. The potential is massive.
Josh man of the match today?
Oh sorry, forgot we’re 2-0 up and already have a pretty good idea who’ll get it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
One thing is certain: Kone will be playing in the Championship next season.
Come on @Twizz it’s Christmas.

Yes
AAH went from L2 to Champo with a similar goal rate as Kone a division below.
I bow to your expertise frankie. In that case I hope we rinse them and their moneybags owners.
Goals win prizes, so they might.
Che is already throbbing out a nice cheery poll about which player we'll lose first
Taylor, Morley, Kone or Humphreys.

Hopefully we've not put a real price reducer clause in there like with Mehmeti.
I suppose Al-Hamadi hadn't done *that* much on paper to prompt Ipswich to make a move. And the King looks a much better prospect.
What is it with our full backs that attracts the sort of abuse that Pattenden got v Bolton & Harvie is getting today?
On the basis of no information or expert knowledge at all @Malone I think we'll keep all of them.
With no bias at all it would surely be a good idea for all 4 of them to stay here, near the top of a league with a team scoring for fun.
Want to see Bakinson on for Leahy soon, as the latter has really dropped off this half

Could it be because they’re so dangerous (for fullbacks) when going forward.?
