Yes, it is a real shame we didn't grab the second goal when we had so much dominance for the period in 2nd half cos then we could have sung "Come and watch us every week!"
Probably the busiest this season... but decide to shut the marquee after the game and make people queue for the Vere in the rain.... wonder what genius decided that !
Although before the game they would have been able to see if it was about to take off? I don't know 🤷♂️.
I genuinely am surprised by the current trend in society for people to immediately feel the need to criticise every decision made rather than to ask if there might be a reason why that decision has been reached.

Top Twenty for the Total Attendance: [Actual 7651]
Apologies to all - especially as there was a record number of attendance predictions with 37 of us and Chat gpt having a go.
Particular apologies to @theRoyalBiscuit most welcome on this thread as well as elsewhere on the Gasroom - and who may have looked for this post and not found it - a very creditable 8th place on what turned out to be difficult to predict accurately. Interest in the game was higher than anticipated by early forecasters and seemed to snowball as the game approached.
Many congratulations and particular apologies to @wwfcblue who was indeed Forecaster of the Week and the only forecaster within shouting distance, missing by just 15.
Respect to @Glenactico who was the first poster to buck the trend and make a brave high prediction and was second closest.
Respect also for @Commoner who was the only other forecaster within 300.
Fantastic to see the big numbers - both at the game and in the figures on here.
Congratulations to everyone else in the list - the 5% mark was 92, and 32 of us were within that number!
Commiserations to @93Chairboy who just missed out with a prediction of 1750 which was out by 93.
Top Twenty for the Home Crowd: [C]alculated 5808]
Congratulations to @wwfcblue, who was unsurprisingly the closest with most people being close-ish to the away crowd and almost everyone except @wwfcblue were a fair way away.
Hopefully the home faithful number will continue to climb as the season progresses.
Interestingly our average prediction over the 38 predictions (including Chat gpt) was 5080. So everyone in this table was better than average.

Good to see AP a bit busier. Had it not been for the awful weather we might have got close to 8,000

Maybe it was too windy to open the marquee
Then maybe it would've been shut before the game as well, but it wasn't.

Sorry this is a bit piecemeal. The total attendance post is just above.
Many congratulations to @MFH_Blue, @perfidious_albion and @ryan_w_kirkby2 who were all equally closest, all missing the sell out number by just three.
