Hull City interest in Matt Bloomfield
There isn’t actually any yet, at least not officially, but Hull City have just sacked Tim Walter.
I’ve seen several Hull City fans suggest Matt Bloomfield as a possible candidate to succeed him.
Let’s hope the owner looks elsewhere.

Hull City are a bit of a disaster club at the moment. Sacked Rosenior when they were 7th, replaced him with Walter over Summer and he's sacked already. Even if Matt was linked, this one he'd be even more likely to turn down than Coventry imo.
Already 12/1 on the betting websites
Hull tend to go for the more exotic option, so I expect Matthias Bloomfeldt to end up there.
We're not going to have this every single time are we
YES
Dear oh lore
Unfortunately yes, because every time a job comes up he's going to high on the list of odds
Arrogantly, I feel we’re a much better proposition than Hull. They’re a mess.
Those in the know understand that Matt is saving himself for the England job and lifting the 2034 World Cup, once we are firmly established as a Premier League side.
The owners need to offer a contract that offers Blooms and team some security, time to show him the love, he's a rare talent.
They'll only know what they have when he's gone.
I'm pretty confident Matt will stay to see how this season pans out...but now Vicario is crocked, I heard Spurs were in for Ravizolli.
Hope so
Philippe Clement is under pressure at Rangers
If people thought Matt wouldn’t do the Ipswich to Coventry as it was a much worse journey than Ipswich to Wycombe (right now there’s about an 11 minutes difference) they are going to have kittens at the Ipswich to Hull journey.
PRO: Strong religious community
CON: Fans aren't quite as friendly as Wycombe's
Plus it's some commute from Ipswich
UK City of Culture 2021 vs UK City of Culture 2017, a tricky one for Blooms
A commute means nothing if your salary is tripled
Maybe we could have a single Bloomers Rumours thread so that there’s only one thread to ignore for the next 30 job vacancies.
That sounds pants
If the commute from Suffolk to Heathrow was bad, try going Suffolk to Hull.
Extend blooms contract. Sign Morely on a permanent. Give blooms what he wants to buy who he wants in Jan (within sensible reason)
This could be a special season. We could do something incredible this season..... if I was ML or Dan Rice asking ML..... I think I'd now say is the time to fucking go for it. We could get quick promotion to the Championship without spending the stupid money Birmingham and lesser so Wrexham are pumping in.
Even if the Academy is the main goal.... the 1st team playing in the championship is obviously a massive lure over them playing in league 1 🤷♂️
Can we have a thread identifying the time and distance from Bloom's home to every EFL and Premier League club?
Whoever lives closest to Bloom's home should get their username in gold.
(No cheating by moving house)
That’d be a shoe in for his next door neighbour.
oh, you meant actual Wycombe fan that lives near…..
I don't have any concerns about Hull.
With Coventry, they have a good squad, and had a long term manager, indicating they are willing to have longer tenures (even if a lot of that was under the prior owner). Not only that, but going from a somewhat older but successful manager like Robins to a "shiny new thing" like Blooms felt like more of a potential direction an owner might take.
With Hull, they recently sacked a manager for the heinous crime of coming 7th, already indicating a habitual cluelessness, and they went with a left field appointment which has blown up in their face spectacularly. The next hire screams "steady hand" - someone with experience in the division like a Steve Cooper who could steady the ship. I don't see them taking a (perceived) risk to even approach a Blooms or Skubala in L1. And of course, Hull is further away, making it even less likely to be attractive to Blooms.
Not only the above, but the underlying concern over Blooms was a (potential) lack of backing from the new regime, but one would have to think that the 10 game winning streak (which must have been at around 5 when the Coventry job came open) has put that to bed, making any move up even less attractive from his perspective.
I don't think Blooms is going anywhere unless we fail to go up and a really attractive offer (like a relegated Ipswich) comes in the summer. It was one thing to think he might go to Coventry after a five game win streak had put us in touch with the leaders. It's quite another to think he would go to basket-case Hull when we are now four points clear and riding a 10 game winning streak.
Not if he knows Uncle Albert.
Braintree have sacked Angelo Harrop, should we start panicking?

(for the commute-minded among you, it's only 33 miles from Ipswich to Braintree)
ex-teammate John Akinde is there too. he's off
Keith Scott spotted buying antifreeze at Cressex filling station.
Could be a widget, sure DC will be looking into it alongside the Christmas lights.
