Same thing on the Lincoln forum, some people believe that there is a direct correlation between the number of arses they have on plastic seats and the way the team performs, like there’s a chemical reaction.
I don't recall Bayo ever missing in the few he took. Bayo's cultured touch will always be lost on fans of other clubs, who think he was just a hulking presence in the air.
I thought when Ainsworth-Bayo came to an end that I wouldn't see anything as good at Wycombe in my lifetime. And here we are two years later and Blooms-Kone has the potential to be even better....
I can't be the only one who thought, when he was getting booed off the pitch ten months ago, that Blooms was a Pep wannabe who sadly couldn't cut it at this level. And here we are today comfortably at the top of the table having scored one of our best goals ever.

They could share with us, so they can enjoy some championship football every other week.
Wycombe having a magical L1 season.
Man City having a down year.
Liverpool appearing to coast to the title.
Er...can we please make sure we keep our PPG up just in case?

Shame the ground is so close to Naphill, one of the first places to be hit by a nuclear bomb next month.
At least we would be L1 champions in perpetuity.
The Liverpool bit is horrible, but the rest is good.
"No team in EFL history has won 7 games in a row and failed to be promoted" - wonder if this is true. From the BCFC forum
@Malone In answer to your earlier question, JJ scored 20/28 penalties in the league for us
That is a mental stat, as I would have thought his conversion rate was better than 71.42%!
Knew he'd missed a decent chunk, but not quite that decent!
I "think" he was similar to Rooney with his pen record though - that he either never, or very very rarely missed a critical one.
Not sure if his all comps record would bump up that percentage - I can only be 100% sure on league
He missed what would have been a late winner away at Ipswich in a 0-0 that wouldn’t been the ultimate shithouse win if he’d scored
Only thing stopping us this season is if Lommy says we have to be Cat 3 before we can go into the Championship

@glasshalffull must be over the moon.
Surely you're checking into that as we speak?
Ah yes, remember that one now. Felt a real blow but a decent draw when all said and done.
Nah because I don't have access to a verifiable source for cups. Transfermarkt will have figures, but they're often wrong.
Leafing through match reports one by one not an option for you?
Hang on, I didn't include the Championship! JJ's record was 24/32, including 4/4 in the Champ.
Contrary to the vibe I give off, I do actually have a bit of a life
Bayo 3/3
You need to cut that out if you want to keep the title of Grand Statsman Flash of the Gasroom.
It’s difficult to compare teams from 30 years ago but this team is just as exciting as the one under Martin O’Neill.
It’s a real pleasure to watch this team and these players and that it comes under Matt Bloomfield just makes it that extra bit special.
Enjoy and savour this moment for as long as possible. It won’t always be like this.
The one-touch pass-and-move goal finished by Fred Onyedinma was a joy to behold.
That league table is just beautiful. Hang it in the Louvre (or whatever the kids say).
What a time to be alive!

(drops dead)
Since promotion back to League One in 2018, we've had these penalty takers in the league. I don't remember a few of them, but...
JJ 24/32
Leahy 7/10
Bayo 3/3
Kone 2/2
McCleary 1/2
Mehmeti 1/2
Uche 1/2
Sadlier 1/1
Lubala 1/1
Freeman 1/1
Potts 0/1
Kashket 0/1
You being excited only adds to the real excitement motoring along.
The O'Neill years were fantastic but what blooms has done is up there. We are top of the league on merit not money.

(Smashes a cup)
Blooms has changed us from football to football and stayed true to his beliefs even when things were not going well...top manager
