I'm sorry, but I think this is worth a new thread. We've said it before, but I think it's right that every so often we should take a moment to express our gratitude to the good doctor.
I'm on a train, "benefitting" from GWR's dodgy WiFi. Consistently, the Gasroom loads quickly and gracefully. The only site that rivals it for the lightness of the load is GOV.UK.
Even if you're at home with the fastest cable you can buy, the Gasroom is just a pleasure to use, with no ads or any other clutter.
The reason for all this is that Dr Congo is a superb web designer who provides server and services for free. We are truly blessed and we should remember from time to time to say thank you.

Absolutely! Other forums really emphasise just how good this one is (and not made totally and utterly impossible to use by hundreds of ads, pop up ads, more ads, and some more ads)
As the Gasroom's worst poster (allegedly), and despite being told regularly to eff off by the good doctor and others, I have to say that this forum is head and shoulders above those of other football clubs in our division, or indeed other EFL divisions.
It's not just the lack of ads and pop-ups, but it's also the ease of navigation, and the fact that clicking on any thread takes you to the first unread post in that thread, a very useful feature.

Thank you all, but you're very wrong. I'm actually an absolute bastard and this place is only any good because it's full of you lot.
Taking on the baton passed on by the original Gasman was never going to be easy, though we are most definitely spoilt by what the good doctor has achieved with this forum.
The quality of @drcongo 's efforts can be appreciated by so much as taking even a cursory look at some of the advert and tracker-ridden hellholes fans of other clubs have to endure.

I would find my life a lot more empty without my daily fix of the Gasroom and all things Wycombe and non Wycombe.
