BSM Trophy Second Round Draw
Takes place on Friday evening on Sky Sports News just after 6pm, with the round of 32 taking place during w/c 9 December. With the size of our squad, I think most will agree (whatever the merits or otherwise of certain aspects of the competition) that these games provide the opportunity for much needed game time for several players...

It's one of Leyton Orient, Northampton, Swindon, or Reading. I don't get this competition - no idea why Cambridge, Birmingham or Stevenage aren't potential opponents. Anyone got a clue?
Regionalisation?
group winners don't play each other do they?
I believe group winners are at home against a second place side regionalised north/south . We won group B
Apparently Group Winners A-D play against second place E-H and winners E-H against second place A-D.
It's called the Vertu Trophy this week: https://x.com/VertuTrophy/status/1859582543571427655
It will always be the Pizza Cup
It just shows how poorly run and supported the competition actually is. Can you imagine the reaction if the leagues or League/FA Cup changed their name midway through the season?
It's a failed concept that needs to be removed and redesigned with clubs in the driving seat!
Na, it'll always be the LDV Vans Trophy
Others have since confirmed why, but it makes an underwhelming cup draw even less interesting when the draw is so limited doesn't it?
However, with such a group of players needing a game we really need to stay in asap.
Fair point
Apparently Vertu owns Bristol Strret Motors, so it's a change of name but not a change of sponsor.
That is correct.
Bugger, I was hoping it was the expensive phone company.
I just found the perfect sponsor.
If there was a 'best of' compilation sponsorship from over the years, it would of course be the Bristol Rover Trophy
The Rumbelow's Milk Cup.
Papa Johnstone's Paint Trophy
