"We thank @WealdstoneFC and its ticketing provider to helping us arrangements for Chairboys season ticket holders to gain priority access for the forthcoming @EmiratesFACup tie, details of which will be finalised early next week."
In a further update Wealdstone have confirmed that tickets sales to away fans will be in person only at their ground where it will be necessary to complete a short questionnaire to ensure you have an adequate grasp of BWK.
I'd imagine they will wait to see what demand there is for home supporters and fill the rest of the ground with away fans? They can fill their ground which will only benefit them (and us).
Surprisingly badly written. Stuff on the official website (as I think that message was) is usually well set out and in good English. I did wonder if ML might have offered a job to someone whose first language isn’t English. There was even a comment about it on the Wanderers Friends FB page.
Eddie Dilsworth. What a guy. Surprised you’re old enough to remember him.
I was crazy enough and lived near enough to Lower Mead in the early ‘sixties to wander down there to watch the odd training session. The floodlights were only partially on for training and I was amused to hear one of the waggish lads call out “smile, Eddie, we can’t see yer, mate”. Not exactly politically correct but seemed to be taken in good part.
Quick quiz in the build-up to this one... What does Grosvenor Vale have, architecturally, that no other ground in the top 5 divisions (and probably the whole country) has?
Ticket details released this morning: first phase sales from 12 noon today - STH who bought a ticket for the York City FAC 1st round game. Can't say fairer than that IMO...
A bit harsh if you couldn't make the York game, I think purchase history for away games this season would have been fairer. I'm not one of those people by the way, just a thought!
Thanks for posting, I'd totally missed this - one extent to the other really. Taking ages to get moving, then phase 1 being the same day they announce it on!
Assume we're waiting for a code at 12pm then. Will get mine then and hopefully be able to get a non York attender one tomorrow.
Yes, that's right. The efficacy of this method will stand or fall by the ability of the club to distribute the code to the right people, at the right time. I am a STH who bought a ticket for the York game, and as of now (11:57) I haven't received mine...

Perhaps our lot have heard that the early kick off time and poor ticket allocation will mean no-one from Wycombe wants a ticket?
yep, I understand they were in agreement for the same reasons

We have our reason for the delay of the tickets.

@micra will not like that message.
Slow and dawdling from our club as ever. Mind you, don't suppose it matters with digital tickets.
Look forward to being able to buy eleventy tickets each

Q1 How many fans do you have? (Hint: None)
Q2 Do you want some? (Tickets)
If the questionnaire doesn't include a reference to Eddie Dillsworth then it's not BWK.
Martin Blackler, Sergio Torres or Ian Stonebridge - which one had conventional hair?

Q: What was 'The Corn Circle'?

Correction. I’m fairly sure that the message was posted on X or Blue Skies.
Definitely not on the official website. But details will surely appear there within the next few days.
Back to sleep!!
Still around 600 home tickets available.

Has it got no fans?
Correct. Full air conditioning.
Mobile phone mast inside the ground?
Ok, maybe that too, but not what I was thinking of!
anyone at the game able to do a gasroom wealdstone raider interview?
I presume it’s the gun emplacement that used to protect RAF Northolt in WW2. Sits in one corner of the ground.
Indeed. Listen out for Stones fans chanting, "Second World War anti-aircraft gun turret, you'll never sing that!".

Code arrived at 12.01, ticket bought at 12.03. Pretty easy process
