I genuinely cannot believe this. Just one fixture change (and that really should be postponed if we beat Wealdstone) despite being top of the table and also the most entertaining team. Meanwhile Wrexham (do you know they are owned by American actors?) have five games selected. It’s really poor from Sky but great news for fans. Hopefully we will be 15 points clear by January and Sky will have egg on their faces.
I did a newspaper interview before we played them in the 2001 semi final and said it was the only time in my life that I wanted Liverpool to lose a game, and I meant it.
The Wrexham thing will continue until they bottom out or get to the PL, or someone else outspends / out-celebs them.
Don't hear anywhere as much about Salford now. Presumably because their owners make all their money from being linked to Man Utd and never had any interest in being beaten by, or growing to challenge them in any way.
I'm already annoyed by the prospect of a quite unbelievable run in being completely ruined by having may of those fixtures moved around to ridiculous kick off times for Sky
Personally I'm delighted we don't have more Saturday games moved. 3pm Saturday games I can make, but as anyone with kids who play football on a Saturday morning will tell you, 12:30pm kick offs are virtually impossible! I've already missed a couple of games this season I'd like to have gone to (Northampton A and Peterborough H) due to kick off changes.
And anyway, I'd think Birmingham away on March 1st is pretty much a shoe in for being moved and inconveniencing us all!

Hope that will be another postponement, this time one we will be pleased with as it’s the date for the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
We will be at Anfield that day. Kone and Fred getting a goal apiece to stun the mighty Liverpool in a 2-1 away victory in the FA Cup. 👍
Hopefully we’ll be in the third round of the cup anyway. That’s the only fixture change until at least march.

Is that over the second half of the season or just Jan/Feb?
I thought they were meant to announce the 2nd half of the season in one go, and that we'd have at least 10 more changes?
The fewer people paying attention to our progress, player and manager the better.
January/February. Yes that’s five Wrexham games for people to snore over. Again does anyone know they are owned by American actors?
Surely it's better if our games aren't moved for TV coverage isn't it?
Correct
Also, it's not really true to equate our one game selection to five game selections for Wrexham.
In this new set of fixtures, covering January & February, they don't have any game selected.
To avenge that dubious result at Villa Park, ain’t that right @glasshalffull
Wrexham have had five games selected in January and February alone.
Sky are a disgraceful broadcaster, selecting Wrexham 5 times when we fer 1 game...Sky as the cootes of broadcasters
Don't know why everyone is moaning. This is brilliant news
Every club is supposed to have at least 20 Sky televised games per season.
Presumably saving ours up for the run in!
To be fair, Wycombe will have had 10 live league games (in addition to three in League Cup and x in the League Trophy) up to New Year’s Day.
(Note: Wycombe v Barnsley on Tuesday January 28 is on Sky, albeit not moved for Sky)

After Villa, I think we are built to beat (or at least trouble) the mix of starters and 2nd XI that most PL clubs put out in the cups.
Let’s hope you get another opportunity soon.
Think that includes the midweek ones on Sky plus.

Thank you for counting them.
I tend to forget the midweek scheduled games that are available to view, thinking of those only that get moved on a Saturday!

We've got away with it at home so far, with just the one 12.30 I think. Away supporters have had 4 or 5 dodgy kick offs.
I dare say we'll get spanked with a few March onwards, without any doubt if we're still playoffs or better.
Seems mad to re-schedule a game when one team is odds on to progress in the cup.
Utter lack of thought.
It’s all entirely positive and for the good of the game.
