What an awful ko time! Was really keen on going to this one, but with my daughter's football on a Saturday morning I'll even miss most of it on the box. Very disappointing.
£135,000 up for grabs if WW can beat Wealdstone (£75k prize money & £60k TV appearance money). But what a ridiculous time to stage the game. However, there will be less scramble for tickets. I wonder if it will sell out or not?
What a joke, really wanted to go to this match and now probably cannot. Son plays football on Saturday mornings. They are away at Windsor. Kick off time not known until about 3 days before.
So is the assumption that Wealdstone’s fan base overlaps with those of Watford and QPR ?
With the Wealdstone ground capacity of around 4,000 (?) I would be extremely surprised if a second round FA Cup match against a top fairly local League 1 club didn’t sell out pretty quickly, notwithstanding TV coverage and the early kick off.
This is a living nightmare of ongoing interesting threads. It was daylight when I started commenting and I’m too lazy to get up from my armchair to put the light on.

How to ruin the best cup draw in years
Thanks everyone involved
Same here, both my boys play on Saturday mornings.
Even if they both have 9am KO's I could not even get to Wealdstone by 11.30am from Reading
Gutted, was looking forward to a few beers, food and a great atmosphere.

I believe I have a reason Why it's at a ridiculous time.
England Womens Vs USA Womens it's at 5:20pm at wembley (evening period ruled out)
Watford Vs QPR is at 12:30pm (sky sports +) (all 4 clubs are relatively nearby)

FFS...
In other news - is this the first time we've been on "terrestrial TV" - ie Channels 1-5 - since the FA Cup semi final?
The fact that Watford v QPR is on at roughly the same time is bound to have an effect on the match attendance.
Weren't the Carling Cup Semi Finals on ITV?
only the highlights, I think.
Perhaps I’m being thick - not unknown - but how does that work?
Only about 10 miles as the crow flies between Watford and QPR with Ruislip nearly in the middle.
I was really looking forward to this game. What a great way to ruin it.

It's not a 10,000 seater stadium is it?
They may not get many of the Wycombe faithful...but I reckon they will still sell out...telly or not.
It's the FA Cup (albeit at a ridiculously early time!)
4:30am here. There goes the chance to finally see us in the FA Cup on TV for the first time since Covid. (world's smallest violin, I know).
11.30am?!
When has that ever been a kick off time, like genuinely! That's insane.
That's doable, just need to set the alarm to 1am to ensure you have a few hours for a big build up.
Watford but they can't get in?
I am going to be a fair weather fan and wait till we draw Manchester United away in the Third Round.
11.30 is ridiculous though. Even for those of it's fairly local to.
Will see if it has any effect on the ticket sale scrum.
Will feel very weird having finished, even with 30mins extra time and pens, long before 3pm!
Me no understand. (It’s happening more and more.)
If you can't prove you were at Wealdstone no United ticket...
Surely you've heard that as a chant before.
The terrace yoofdem used to sing this to random clubs who had a bigger club nearby.
Suggesting they're actually fans of said bigger local club, but they can't actually get into that ground.
Do the odd household chore, bacon sarnie and a cuppa, settle down in front of the (free to view) telly 11.00 ish and on the beers by 12.15 half time.
I’ve had worse Saturday mornings.
Crikey !

I seem to remember watching them with a mate who is a Stoke fan as he had Sky or did i dream it?
It’ll be over in time for you to enjoy the sunrise over the mountains!
I don't think I've ever known a kick off time in the morning. Game's gone.
What time does Wetherspoons open these days?
