Sir Joshington of Scowenshire or whatever it is. Humphreys not far behind. The entire outfield team not far behind that. Kone’s first touches were glorious at times.
King Kone but ... whatever, legends all from Chairman to Groundsman.
Fred for me. He would have had four assists if that terrible Kone had been better! (😉)
Kone this time but take your pick everyone today was on the top of their game.
Close - it's 'Sir Josh of Scowenshire' as we bow theatrically and tip our caps to his brilliance.
Though 'Joshington' has a nice ring, hmmm...
I refuse to vote. Can’t pick one. Simply flawless (even Kone deliberately missing sitters to keep away the big teams)
Went for Fred but that was almost the perfect team performance. Hard to single out anybody.
Humphreys for me. Real quality in and out of possession.
I went Fred too, but honestly could have been anyone.
No idea, can’t choose
Scowen covered every inch of the pitch, Humphries so dangerous but Fred MOM for me. 2 goals and created so much
I went for Pattenden, simply because I thought he might be a leak link tonight. How wrong could I be, they were all fantastic.
Could easily have gone for Fred or Kone but went for Jasper. Up against the divisions top scorer, he didn't put a foot wrong all night. It was the stability at the back, that allowed our forwards to play with such confidence.
Fred!
Went for fred. Amazing to have him back. His class was shining through today.
However.... kone... morely... scowen.... pattenden... humpfreys .....
Infact all of them every single player was superb.
So proud of all the players and management tonight. You did us proud boys 👏 👏 👏
FRED different class
Should be an option for all of them
But I went for King Richard. Forget his goals (he should have had a couple more as well) but his first touch, hold up play and bringing others into the game were absolutely outstanding
Long may he reign
There was a moment in the first half where Kone controlled a long ball completely dead from the air - an absolutely phenomenal first touch
I thought Kone and Humphreys both had their best games of the season.
Humphreys was absolutely superb in the final third. Everything he did was so precise.
Kone's hold up play was exceptional, which isn't something we've really seen from him. Although he'll be annoyed not to have bagged at least 3.
I thought Kone had his best game ever for us
Fred…creator and finisher tonight, has really got his pace back in the last few weeks since arriving.
Was going to give it to Scowen who, in addition to covering every blade of grass as usual, was magnificent in our own box with crucial clearances when they had that succession of dangerous corners late in the first half. I thought at half that a goal then might conceivably have changed the course of the game.
But, it’s so exciting to see Fred looking back to his best that I feel compelled to add to his votes in order to ensure that he “feels the lurve”.
I went for Fred. Unplayable.
But Kone's first touch tonight was on Eze's level. Scowen covered every blade of grass. Humphreys was like Iniesta. Low and Taylor were behemoths at the back. Morley took the piss all night. It could've been all of them
Everyone (but went Kone)
Humphreys for the first twenty minutes when he was unplayable
An even tougher call than the last one, front to back they all played really well.
In the end I went for Humphreys who is real class & always looks like he has so much time, but equally doesnt shirk his ball recovery duties.
Kone for me. Stockport just could not handle him for the first 30 minutes or so. A superb through ball to Udoh to win the penalty, excellent hold up play and strength on the ball, scored two, should have scored 3, could have scored 5
I actually went for Jo Low, as he refused to be bullied by the thug he was up against.
I really don't know who to go for
In fairness, it'd take an absolute beast to be able to bully Low!
