Brilliant hat trick for Kone but pleased to see the praise for GMac who is one of my all time favourite Wycombe players, he oozes class. If Swann thinks we didn’t play like a team on a great run he must be looking for very high standards. Pity he doesn’t have the same approach to his journalistic skills.
Not that one, but the Butterfield one was, at 6mins 48.
So there's been a quicker perfect hattrick (if we're allowed to count FA cup), but it'll really need something special to have a quicker perfect hattrick as sub!
Kone's dazzling display made me forget how good Morley was in the first half - can't believe how wrong I was about him earlier in the season. I think I was looking for him to do Scoweny things because he's playing that position, and I was completely missing the incredible vision and passing.
I know you and I are a bit obsessed with Morley, but isn’t he incredible? We would be so much less effective playing out of the back without him. Scowen complements him perfectly out of possession too. With our budget you’d be so hard pushed to acquire a better pairing. Superb players. Enjoying every moment I get to see them play for us. They’re fantastic.
Add to that the fact that Dan Harvie is now looking like a real class left back, Caleb Taylor is settling in nicely alongside the giant that is Joe Low and captain Jack is doing his stuff at right back.
Furthermore we have Kone, GMac and Fred plus Dan Udoh, Sads, Bez and the rest.
We are truly blessed and I strongly believe we can beat any team in our league now that this squad has had a chance to gel together. Exciting times ahead indeed!!!
Kone gets my vote, but Grimmer in particular should be commended for a very accomplished performance. Which in turn leaves many excellent performances battling over the bronze medal.

Perfect though?

Damn.
Kone.... It just has to be kone.... surely!? As good as all the lads were today with some standouts for sure....
It's one man with 3 goals in 9 mins.... who turned around a goal defecite to give us a 3-1 win... he came off the bench too!
He just can't not be our man of the match. He was the match
Simply has to be Kone. That said;

Never had your doubts on Morley, but I like many did wonder why Scowen was being used further forward.
It's all clear now!
According to the posh forum Wycombe like Wrexham are not 'word beaters'. I thought @micra would beg to disagree.
@micra is napping at the moment, but I'm sure he'd suggest beg to "differ" is the usual phrase.
Morley is superb and with the brilliant Josh Scowen and young Humphries, we have the best midfield three we have had for many a season.

Grimmer's nutmeg on the run down the right wing will be talked about in hushed tones for years to come. Magical
Had a day away from the room today but decided to have a quick butcher’s before retiring.
I like @Malone’s “beg to differ”. When it comes to words, I like to think this forum beats most other League 1 forums.
I beg to disagree...
