This could be a bit of a defining game of our season for me. Whether the stats back me up, or whether it’s an unconscious bias, but for the 30 odd years supporting us I have always felt we can struggle against teams towards the bottom.
I don’t know why, I just never go into these games with as much confidence and hope of a win as I do against mid table or table topping teams.
Couple that with the dreaded new manager bounce Crawley may have, I’m going into this cautious.
My heart hopes for a dominant performance both interms of style and score line that I think performances so far this season indicate and, perhaps, deserve to happen.
My pessimistic head is thinking it will be a day we come home to a disappointing draw and missed opportunities.
I’m sure the management team are, but we all need to be aware of the banana skin that could await if anything less than 100% is given.
Also, having scored twice in eight consecutive league matches, there’s a reason it’s not been done since 1934. It’s incredibly difficult to do. I think I’d take a 1-0 right now, if it were offered to me.
Good to see McCleary start, I find he's much better there than off the bench. Blooms is using the squad v well - the commentator the other night said we'd used the most players in the league. Who knew?
A good attacking line up against a lowly side at home, and I can't make it for the first time in a while - expect a 6-0 win
Great to get rewards for the early pressure, Crawley came out to run all day and show off for their new manager, hope we've hit their belief. Kiturna (spelling almost certainly wrong) looks useful though.
Not the greatest game so far , Crawley want to play total football and the have mistakes in them , we need to pick up the tempo little more...this ref is an interesting way of reffing ....and not in a good way !

This one has got banana skin written all over it!
COME ON YOU BLUES!
I was wondering why they had some kind of African shield on their crest until Mr Google informed me it's three planes taking off from Gatwick.
I prefer the African shield.
This time last year, yes, although in truth a disappointing result then wouldn’t have been regarded as a banana skin!
We’ve come a very long way.
The Crawley forum is very downbeat with most expecting to lose. One wag said that if they had 100% possession they'd still lose to an own goal.
You’d expect the players’ wives to be a bit more positive
Put together in Word. Bang average would be generous.
Most chair people around the interweb are presuming this game is just a gimme. Dangerous thoughts me thinks.

We're going to thrash them 5-0

0-0 nailed on now. Thanks.
At least we know who to blame
The Cambridge home game a few weeks ago should remind us these near the bottom teams are never a gimme.
We dominated that game and stuck at it well, but it was level until 85
The Cure started off as a school band in Crawley.
Cheers, bye.
Boy's don't cry, but hopefully the opposition will be after today's game!
Obviously disappointing to be without Morley but having an extremely fresh Matt Butcher as replacement is ideal.
And if front three of McCleary, Kone and Onyedinma does not work, we still have Lubala, Udoh and Sadlier in reserve. What a time to be alive.

Looking forward to well, all of it, but especially Fred's first start this time round.
Just about in my case ! An untimely bout of tachycardia but I’ll be watching after a late fitness test.
Anyone else have really poor picture quality?
Much improved now!
Mine keeps blanking out and I need to refresh. But assume that’s my issue rather than WWTV
Front 3 a handful
BOOM
(need one more)
BARMY ARMY!
YESSSSSSS!!! Get in!

McCleary still such a good player, great stuff from him that half.
Harvie getting forward well, hadn't made the most of a few promising openings
