He'll want to hang on to Prem or at least Championship for as long as he can and we'd have to guarantee starts anyway, can you imagine him coming back here and sitting on the bench yet again wondering if the last 18 months was all a dream.
Id like to see another striker. Love Kone and want him to thrive, but can't help feeling heading into a season starting a lad who was playing Sunday League a few months ago is a bit much.
You have to hand it to the club and their forward thinking & getting a training ground close to Heathrow. If there is a transfer that's been agreed with a foreign or northern team, they get a flight to Heathrow, £5 taxi fare to the new training ground, sign the contract & get it faxed over to the FA / EFL in plenty of time before the 11pm deadline!
Not necessarily. Low will miss international weekends, Taf is good to go about once a month and Hartridge has yet to impress. I’d like someone else back there.
It is probably a case of not wanting to put too much pressure on Skura just yet. He is a really good prospect and I personally feel that he could be a better bet than Forino, who was somewhat injury prone.

@Twizz he was certainly positive - remember “There is a depth of talent unlike any team previously assembled” !
looks like we are signing Caleb Taylor on loan from West Brom...Hope this does not mean we are pushing Skura down pecking order again
if Broja signs for Ipswich , any chance we can get AHH on loan?
Absolutely no chance whatsoever. If he goes anywhere, it'll be the Championship. He was (sadly) heavily linked with Oxford earlier in the window.

We also have Vokes, Bez, Hanlan (to return), Bartolo. I'd be surprised if we are in for another striker.
Vokes is injured, and I wasn't convinced by Hanlan before he had a year out with an injury.
Id like us to dip in for some experience up there

With us looking to sign a goalkeeper from Livingstone, does this mean that Bishop's injury is worse than we first thought?

How bad did you think it was?
Well he's had an operation. So I'm thinking he's out until Christmas but what do I know?
Is this thing on?
Shamal George has announced his departure from Livingston on Instagram.
And swiftly deleted it.
Lol, I'm sure nobody will notice if he has to go back
I notice he's followed by Richard Kone. 2+2=5?
Possibly from Kone’s time on trial at Colchester.
When they both dreamed of playing for a decent club, and hatched a plan to get out of Essex and meet back up in Bucks.
Caleb Taylor has signed on loan for the rest of the season.
There does seem to be a keener plan than there has been for a while.
The simple fact these players were rumoured means there was some thought before today
can we loan gareth ball golf team
Colchester United have just signed midfielder Jamie McDonnell on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.
This is fuelling rumours that we have made another offer for midfielder Arthur Read.
as long as he can learn to work and play in our system, it could be a good move
Chem Campbell goes on loan to…you guessed it, Reading.
Good for them.
That will be that then. Unless we make any free transfer signings.
