I seem to recall that Skura’s height in Wikipedia etc doesn’t appear to have been updated. He’s shown as 1.88 m (6’2”) the same as Caleb Taylor but he always looks more than that in photographs.
I’ll be disappointed if Skura loses his place after that excellent performance against Swansea.
Annoying that the official website announces his arrival (and slightly misleadingly describes him as a Wanderer) but without any text about him. Yet there is a paragraph or two about about Shamal George.
Also the cause of the statistically impressive Ravizolli. That’s a strange one. I can see why some people continue to have slight but hard to justify reservations about him but his “outcomes” consistently exceed expectations and there must be some kind of mysterious but wonderfully positive chemistry going on between him and his defending teammates.
To be honest, I haven’t been as impressed with Nathan Bishop as I expected to be and, sadly for the lad himself, it feels almost as if his association with WWFC was destined to be ill-fated from the start . Perhaps, as my grandmother might have said, it wasn’t meant to be. But we obviously wish him well for the future and hope that he will enjoy a successful career.
As far as I can establish, Nathan Bishop has not left Wycombe and would expect him to be back anywhere between November and February depending on the severity of the injury.
Nathan Bishop obviously hasn’t left the club but the permanent signing of Shamal George must cast some doubt on the likelihood that his loan spell will be resumed when he recovers from the broken ankle.
Hi Leeds, it wasn’t that it didn’t work out well it was that he was always back up for Santos who was carrying an injury. Caleb looked good when he did play but wasn’t going to replace Rico when he was fit. He’s certainly a big guy at 6’ 4” and a very strong presence at the back. He’s not only tall but big with it. He’s very well rated by Albion and I’m sure if he’s played regularly will be a really good signing for you. He only went back to Albion through injury not because he wasn’t doing it but he’s fully fit again now and might have come back for another season here had we not already signed Forino permanently of course rather than another loan and Albion didn’t want to sell. Anyway good luck for the season it should be a tough L1 this year. 🙂
Comments
good signing.
Almost 2 metres tall.
says our 2nd signing of the day, maybe another to follow.....
Is he our first ever Caleb?
His old man played for Birmingham and Watford yeah?
Yes, the ‘other,’ Martin Taylor.
The march of time eh son
What’s that in real money?
We need @micra's measuring stick!
6'6
Why did his loan move to Bolton not work out well...? We need @FarmerCee for the inside story...
He had established and better players ahead of him in the team and struggled for fitness after picking up a couple of injuries.
... or an all-knowing football journalist 🤓
Thx, hope he’s fit and ready to take his chance this time
Apart from the word football that description is tenuous!
I’m optimistic 👀 he’ll be a good addition. Our centre-backs need to step-up like Declan Skura did in midweek.
6’2”. Not as tall as Skura.
So Caleb's 1.88m tall - which is a fair way shorter than 2m @Kim_il_Swan.
4¾ inches less, in fact.

The wikipedia entry has been changed!
he stood on the ground weighed 235lb.
note I voted remain but my weights and measures voted brexit
I don’t think either George or Taylor have been signed in time to play at Blackpool so Skura’s cause is helped.

I suppose it depends on how George performs. At this stage I would expect Bishop to return to starting line up once fit.
No need to do anything formally around that, can train / rehab wherever is best and review it all in January

That would make me sad
If (and a big if) Taff stays healthy we would have an adequate replacement.
