I know we’re in a new (ownership) era now, with a slightly different squad, but surely if MB had wanted to move Hanlan on, he would have done it when Hollywood’s own Wrexham came a-knocking, cash in hand.
If anything, I think the way we switched to playing from January onwards fits Hanlan playing as one of the wide players well.
That is, of course, assuming his horrific injury hasn’t robbed him of the pace he had.
mcleary/luballa/hanlan/Sadlier wide, with Kone/udoh/Vokes in the 9 and 10 roles could be great. I think there’s space for more pace in the wide areas or a genuine exciting talent like Anis was, but that’s very greedy of me.
The options we should have available off the bench this season will be strong. Vokes coming on with 10 to go could almost be enough to terrorise opposite defenders to Bayo levels. Plus whoever misses out down the flanks.
This will definitely be another ‘changing of the guard’ season with the likes of Vokesy and GMac coming towards the end of their careers.
I hope this question doesn't in any way appear disrespectful but I was wondering, since I don't know his heritage, if he prefers to be called Dan, Daniel or Udoh?
I ask because I've noticed that, on the website, we have introduced other signings as Alex (Hartridge), Brody (Peart), Dan (Harvie), Tareeq (Bakinson) and Nathan (Bishop) but have introduced him as Udoh.
I am starting to get really optimistic about next season.
One more winger and an attacking centre midfielder away from having a serious tilt at the playoffs I'd say - and that's despite some other teams recruiting well, and the league looking generally quite strong and competitive.
It is really good to see that we have already signed 5 good players and that will mean we can bed them in to our methodology earlier than we did last summer.
Club's socials suggesting the dev squad signings Peart and Bartolo will be involved vs Watford too so could see them force their way into first team consideration too.

The Kazakh subtitles are going to be weird to look at.
Sorry this was meant for you @bluntphil .
Hanlan is the least mentioned. Do we consider him the most likely to be sidelined? Or even moved on?

Dan has an interesting side to side rocking gait. Probably only at walking pace.
Probably because people have got used to not including him in line ups.
But Bloomfield has spoken very highly of him in the past and will no doubt be delighted he can re-introduce him in a gentle way at first.
Yes it did seem Matt was something of a Hanlan fan and in return he played well until his injury last season.
Given Garath isn’t getting any younger and Sadlier rarely completes 90 mins there should be plenty of opportunities for him on the flanks.
@bluntphil You might find this useful until the studio is ready: https://elevenlabs.io/voice-isolator
Just tried it on a segment of the audio from that interview and it's astonishingly good - https://audio.com/drcongo/collections/voice-isolation-tests
Edit: This one has considerably less confusing pricing: https://ai-coustics.com/

Does anyone know?
Don't know about that but his new song is obviously
It's hard to believe it's not Vokes
It's Daniel...Udoh
