Spud Murphy is arguably an even better one. Definitely sounds like he should have been a character with a terrible Oirish accent in a Rik Mayall sitcom.
I wonder that. Richard is the much travelled Amersham Town striker, 41 now, who once scored the opening goal for Havant & Waterlooville in an an FA Cup tie at Anfield.
As for Mr Maber, he is the worst referee I have had the misfortune to see officiate at Wycombe games.
The Thatcham ref was Ken Walker from Slough, @bookertease. He was bad that day, but I only remember him once. Maber was bad every game, too many mistakes.

Where’s Nick Freeman?
Mickey Schools. Great name.
I have visions of him as a cultured midfielder no one can get near. Mickey schools the opposition
@glasshalfempty
Great quiz son
Can you name the future Uxbridge manager there? And a Millwall striker?
You'll get the Slough centre forward
I could only answer this one by cheating with Google, great quiz!
Richard Cadette played for Millwall, Henry Pacquette is the future Sluff player.

Henry Pacquette - 22 apps, 7 goals for Chairboys in 83-84.
We have a winner @wwfcblue although it’s from 1982.
I think Tony Choules managed Uxbridge @peterparrotface
I must admit Spud Murphy and Micky Schools are brilliant names.
Is Henry Pacquette related to Richard?

I dread to think how bad that referee must have been to be below some of the ones we’ve suffered @Steve_Peart
(He wasn’t the Thatcham B&B final one was he? Whoever that was wears the ‘worst I’ve ever seen crown’)
Wow, worse than Prosser or Stretton?

Yes @MindlessDrugHoover, worse even than Royston Osborne.
That genuinely made me shudder
Didn’t even spot that. That does out do ol’ Mickey schools.
Gary Fowles is a questionable choice for centre back mind. Likely to get booked while running around like a headless chicken.
