Sunderland’s acquisition of Simon Moore with Anthony Patterson as their undisputed No.1 would suggest that Nathan Bishop is being allowed to go out on loan this season, possibly to us.
Not a peep - I expect he is still testing the market, though we could have signed him already and waiting to announce. The reason I doubt the latter is that it is a slow news cycle right now for the club, so I (completely without any inside knowledge) would have thought we would have stuck the announcement in there somewhere.
Indeed, and similarly the majority of us will be happy with this signing. My two initial thoughts - is the writing on the wall for Franco and will there be an option to make it a permanent signing.
Reading the Sunderland forum a little, they seem to think he is going to be surplus to requirements, so if he does well for us, hopefully there is that option.
I suspect that we are going to get the best out of Bishop. Having been mistreated (to my mind) by Manchester United, and then struggled at Sunderland (including the bad publicity of being part of the incident where Paul Mullin was injured), I think it should be such a boost to his morale if we indeed get him in for the season as our #1, two years after we initially tried. To feel wanted is so important.
Evidently Sunderland fans think Bishop is awful. Considering Josh Scowen was "the worst player ever to pull on a Sunderland shirt" when he came over to us, I am very happy with the Bishop business!

The super Eights is 2 groups of 4. England have West Indies, South Arica and USA.
Then I'm not sure, but I'd guess the top 2 in each group will be the semi finals
Correct

That's a point, any word about whether Ravizzoli will sign on?!

All office staff currently on a two week training course in Astana
With all due respect to Rav, it is probably the least worried we've been with a will he / won't he renewal for some time.
To borrow/modify the old Allsop joke, maybe we threw the contract to him and he was deceived by how the wind took it.
He was doing his shoe laces up at the time.
Alternatively they could be dusting the office? 🤷♂️
They'll no doubt return wearing tee-shirts bearing the slogan жоғары Wycombe

It's Wycombze now, isn't it?
Wycombadse Wanderstan.
It appears that we are about to sign Nathan Bishop on a season long loan, as per Ian Baker.
I think a lot of us assumed this was going to happen. The keeping coach(es) obviously rated him and I doubt if they changed their mind.
Excellent news.

My latest failed attempt to copy and paste a black printed link. It goes blue when I click on it but still doesn’t work.
Frustrating.
Should liven up the games against Wrexham.
Sorry, I must be getting boring.

Looks a good signing if it is completed.

A little harsh on Franco who I think has been excellent but then I thought Max was a little hard done by .
Can't argue with that, but despite doing pretty well, he didn't strike me as top end league 1 starting keeper for me. Quality backup though
In what way harsh on Ravizzoli, who has been offered a contract by us but, not (yet) signed.
It might be a very generous offer, they might both be told to earn the first team spot.
You're just guessing.

Bishop bashing seems the norm for them.
Imagine if he is total crap though…it’d put a whole new spin on the start of the 22/23 season wouldn’t it.
All those angry Gasroomers would have to re-assess their opinions about how everything would have been fine if only we’d signed Bishop.
