basically I’m quite dreadful with IT, phones and passwords and found my original login information didn’t work and the only way I could get on was to change my username slightly . However they are all variations on a theme. And
Reports today suggesting that Peterborough are following up their signing of Altrincham’s Chris Conn-Clarke this weekend by signing Rochdale’s George Nevett.
So two of the best young talents in the National League. Good business. CCC was the NL’s player of the season and Nevett, a stylish teenage centre-half has been on the radar of Premier League clubs.
They have cash and a great business model in signing GOOD young talent and selling them for even more. I am sure they have had some six-figure duds also but on the whole they seem to get it right.
UEFA coefficients are a really poorly constructed tool. If they factored relative league strength into the equation too they would go some way to resolving the bias towards teams playing in countries where they have overwhelming advantages, but really they should scrap the idea of seeding entirely

I am improving.
And there was me having decided not to put a cheeky comment to this one!
Just in. Ton and of messages in the rumour mill thread. Here we go, the summer transfer season has lift off.
oh
You should see the ex-player news!

Max Stryjek having a medical ahead of signing for reigning Polish Champions Jagiellonia Białystok.
Would be signed as the first choice goalkeeper after the recent first team keeper left for Larnaca in the Cypriot league.
The other three keepers on the books are either youth players or have made no League appearances as senior players.
Jagiellonia Bialystok won their first Polish League title last month and find out tomorrow who they play in the Champions League qualifiers.
On the wrong thread but a piece of trivia, this team has changed its name 12 times since 1920.
So just to clarify, a Champions League club think Stryjek is good enough for them? Not a League Two side?
They have a lower UEFA coefficient than Lincoln Red Imps!
Are they in the qualifiers for the UCL this season?
Surely you are referring to Larnaca, not the Polish champions?
Edit: I suppose if they are new on the scene, the Polish Champs would make sense, as the Imps play a lot of CL qualifiers.

Yes they are playing Ħamrun Spartans of Malta - first leg 9th or 10th July (away).
I agree, the coefficients appear to have no relationship to reality.
I just spent vital moments readjusting my screen because of that bar going across the H, totally foxed me.
Beg pardon, @Ed_ ?!
Ħ at the start of the Maltese team
So if the fancy O is an umlaut, is the fancy H a Haud Boiled Egg? (I am assuming these letters to all be named by Arnold, of course).
Though they start in Qualifying Rd 2. Red Imps start in Qualifying Rd 1
Dream away trip that.
Wow. Thank you. Interesting.
Any rumours of possible WWFC incomings?
Daniel Udoh from Shrewsbury. Rumours have come out of their camp and not ours.
@micra I’d recommend not checking the cricket scores tonight
Oh dear. I’ll have to concentrate on the World Cup Super Eights now, although I’ve no idea how the knockout stage works. Assuming there is one.
Come on @kipper - Where are you!?!?
Getting smoked!
