No away fan could ever vote for Gillingham, surely?
Voting for the inferior WWFC
Two absolute stinkers in there.
Molineux for the memories of that McSporran masterclass.
Molineux has proper history too. First English ground with floodlights.
Someone voted Meme?!! Joke ground for a joke club
Home Park for the play-off win, Barry Richardson, Three Little z birds and just how infuriated it made them when we won every time.
Who voted for the shithole that is the memorial ground?!!!
Colin Daniel?
Home Park for me - 3 trips, 3 wins. Play off semi final, the Barry Richardson game, and then the 3-0 where Anis scored two, which is still one of my favourite away days of all time
*Sir Colin Daniel
We were so good that night (the 3-0). Probably a top five GA performance.
Yeah we were unbelievable. Could’ve had 4 or 5 easily, and the Ainsworth masterplan was in full force that night. I remember we basically man marked them from halfway and ignored Dan Scarr all night and it worked a dream!
Plymouth just shades Wolves for me
Yes, I watched that Plymouth away game (can't remember if it was in Vipienne or on Sky), but it was a League One masterclass of the highest level. People who say GA was tactically inept need to watch this game whilst understanding the circumstances at the time (Plymouth top, us 3rd I think?)
That is always the first game I think of when reminiscing about the genius of Anis Mehmeti, too.
Whisper it quietly but Plymouth is a good ground and lots of the local area is very nice, but nobody voting for them pricks 😀
Another tough choice but only been Argyle and Wolves.
Great memories at Plymouth, in general, particularly the Barry Richardson show.
Wolves is a great ground and not far from City Centre. Also due to their unique colour there isn’t a stadium like it in the land.
I went with Home Park, I liked it as far as newer grounds go and ignoring the slight edge between the two sides for a time (mainly from D Adams but also us being their bogey team for a long time) I like them as a club.
The Mem is a shithole but I would rather an old-school ramshackle mess than one of the dull new templated stadia (the current ColU ground is a classic example of one).
