Was it the 1982 World Cup where England's shirts just absorbed all the sweat and they were basically see-through by half-time? Admiral had to ship a load more out.
Tough choice. Been to all four recently, two with Wycombe and two without.
Went to Meadow Lane several times down the years (possibly most visited away ground) and the supporters bar next to the ticket office has always been really welcoming. Close to City Centre etc and a great night out. Have also been a few times with my son around his birthday so took some of his friends to. Got my vote for sentimental reasons.
The updated Ashton Gate is really good. If you go in the New Lansdown Stand there is fantastic history of the club through the years and some great bios of past players. Behind the North Stand - was the famous "Colin Daniel" stand, I think it has now been knocked down though. Atmosphere is pretty good as well.
I'd like to go to Sunderland again and walk up from the City Centre to sample that atmosphere that @eric_plant mentions above. Last time I parked on the river and walked in. Great stadium though.
The new Cardiff ground is decent but it's just not Ninian Park. Now, that was a terrific and terrifying place to watch football. Having lived down there for a few years and been to a few derby games with Swansea, the new ground just doesn't match it. You still have to watch yourself with a few of the locals, which is completely different to International Rugby matches at the Millenium. If you haven't been try and go, amazing atmosphere and the city is brilliant for a night out, especially on match days. (Apologies to those who do not recognise the egg sport 😋)
I had, and still have in the loft somewhere - albeit with an iron shaped hole in one of the sleeves - a branded light blue replica shirt from the mid/late 80s. I'm pretty sure that it would have been one of the first seasons we did make them available
Notts County for me. Usually look forward to a game there as they have/had a cafe in the car park that is very reasonable. Always good for a pre match fry!!😋

The holy grail for me is Netherlands '88, but even one in semi-good nick is a good £400
Yes 82 was Admiral. A derided kit that has recently come back into fashion
It's Holland not Netherlands 😉
Agreed about Holland '88. Almost up there with Denmark '86
Denmark's Hummel kits were iconic weren't they?
We had the subbuteo team but, alas that's been lost
I'll keep all polls open to the end of the round to give anyone that has missed out a chance to vote.

Correctly
Coventry's brown one is the ultimate Admiral kit, and rare as rocking horse shit.
The Admiral ones were for kids, as was the Bukta range. Me, Christmas 1963, Dad was a Villa fan!

You haven't changed a bit!
(see photo with Sido)
My understand was that rocking horse shit was the inspiration for that kit (the pale stripes based on skid marks I presume).
My mum ironed a hole in my 93 Wycombe shirt bless her
I still wear it for six a side...holes and all
The Yorkshire folk respect it up here
That your mum still does your ironing?
she does a terrible job of preventing the late night binge postings
