Stiff competition but with 15 points and a Wembley appearance, I’d like to think he’ll get it. What a high he’d be on going off to Croatia with his family. Thoroughly deserved.
Some other worthy candidates but for me, the fact we had to rotate so heavily, were supposedly "on the beach", and also had to be emotionally picked up from a Wembley defeat, should all give more support to MB.
If Pep wins the Premier league with City again, given the virtually unlimited resources at his disposal, should he win manager of the season for the Premier League above say Nuno keeping NForest up despite points deductions.
Manager of the Season/month are about achievements relative to the available resources in my view
Didn’t mean to move the focus to the PL, it was an example only that winning the league doesn’t automatically infer “manager of the season” in whatever league. It’s about what has been achieved with available resources in the time under consideration.
Absolutely legendary if they finish it off, with Leeds and Southampton in their immediate rear view!
For me, the divisions would be Emery, McKenna, Mousinho, Crawley chap whose name escapes me. I do think there are plenty of seasons where managers lower down the table should win, though - QPRs boss and Selles at Reading have both been excellent overall, and the Wednesday chap too. I suppose it's hard to give to someone who did not get a full season, though.
Yeah, they aren't safe yet, the three teams below have far less resources and support and there's nothing to suggest they wouldn't have been fine with the last bloke.
An unfashionable choice from nearby would be Gary O'Neill.
Huge congratulations to Matt, his staff, the players and the management team.
With an already strong lineup for next season and five senior places still available plus Rav or another goalkeeper we are looking strong. Even if Forino and Garath both sign we still have three senior outfield places available.

Does the manager of the month curse carry over into the first month of the next season?

It gets spread out over the pre-season friendlies, thankfully!
I hope I'm proven wrong but I suspect winning the league is going to give Mousinho the win.
He only picked up 11 points in six games. Matt picked up 15 in seven.
Only Warne and Matt remained unbeaten and Des lost at home against Lincoln.
Throw in our extra league game and a Cup Final to get over and I would hope the panel would give it to Matt.
Fully deserved against the other contenders.
Do you get a free holiday to Croatia if you win MotM?!
Surely winning the league gets you "Manager of the Season", manager of the month is something entirely different.
Oh yeah.....that's a point.

Emery should get it, assuming Arsenal don't won the title.

so yes Matt for manager of the month for League 1
I was really commenting on the thought of giving someone manager of the month just because they won the league and I stand by my comment.
As for who should actually get manager of the season in the Premier league....
Well that's a different discussion, but they'll probably give it - wrongly in my view - to Pep.
Manager of the season for me is McKenna at Ipswich who he has taken from League One to the brink of the PL, some achievement.

Nuno shouldn’t be anywhere near Manager of the Season.

Well done Blooms!
Never in doubt.
Someone went to centre parks (yes I am going to spell it like that) to give him the trophy?!
That is some turnaround from October-January.
Huge congratulations to Matt, his staff, the players and the management team.

Perhaps Center Parcs was a decoy. Looks more like Butlins to me.
I'm loving all the Oxford fans on X moaning that their bloke didn't get it. Apparently we've done nothing special last month.
Congrats Matt, massive and very welcome turn around.
That'll be their bloke who've they've been calling for to be sacked most of the season.*
(* - yes, irony of our parallel situation duly noted)
We're only top of the form table.
