Charlie Horlock has left Hitchin. He leaves with a goal to his name and I believe he very nearly scored his second of the season at the weekend, which would have kept them up.
The angle of that footage isn't 100% clear but he's surely lucky that's not a red.
I'm sure most fans would be happy with that level of horrible cheating to be one.
Remember in the early 90s Cousins got a red for handling on the half way lime where there was no chance the opponent would have made a goal attempt. This one looks like the player would have been racing in on goal.
Another case of a fanbase forgetting their very recent past and not appreciating that, sometimes, you just need a player who will run through brick walls for the team. He’s played in almost every position, he’s shown grit and determination and undoubtedly he’s great for the dressing room off the pitch.

Myles Weston scores for Bromley in their play off game v Altrincham
Scored again, a screamer.
He really was a great winger, that run down the line for Thomos goal at WHL is right up there with great 21st century Chairboy moments.
Those were his first two goals for Bromley and by coincidence he started his footballing career at Charlton
Matt Harrold joins Premier League Bournemouth.

Craig Eastmond, Lee Angol and Scott Kashket released by Sutton United. Steve Arnold offered a new deal.
Kashket has had an absolute disaster since leaving. Poor guy
Northampton just released Dom Gape too, another sad story.
Both seemingly curses by injuries
Surprised to see some teams announce retained/released players so early.
Is it early? I'm sure they're usually announced within a week of the season ending.
Maybe it's because I rarely look out for them but I generally thought it wasn't until mid-May. Probably is for those teams in play-offs though.
Our season ended much earlier for some reason, this year, so I think that is why. I think our last game was well into May last year - a week or so.
For the Euros, isn't it?
"Come May we hope to be there or thereabouts" - football season should never finish in freezing wind in April. Disgraceful.
Some Prem teams still have 5 games left, not sure finishing League one a few weeks earlier will have a huge impact on the Euros.
More that the Championship season must be finishing early because of it and they'd generally finish the other two divisions before that
I thought he had a longer contract. Poor Dom
Martyn Lee appointed assistant manager at Kingstonian.
Ah, that makes sense. England do need Scowen nice and rested too! Rice could pick up an injury at any time.

Richard keogh has been released by Forest Green Rovers.
Hopefully Richard can find a new club, he is a great lad and puts his heart and soul into everything. Good luck Richard.

O’Nien still shithousing
A number of Sunderland fans are really laying into him on Twitter. Some calling him pathetic, others saying he’s a crap footballer.

Didn't half or more of the gasroom go absolutely mental when Max fell over and dropped the ball to lose us the game v Barnsley or someone?
It's the problem with the Internet, instant reactions committed to screen that in the light of day look ludicrous.
