Mark Clattenburg leaves his role as referee analyst at Forest, saying it had become more of a hindrance than a help. It amazes me that the league allowed such a role in the first place.
Glorious commentary from the Barnsley-Bolton game. "Barnsley finished 6th, and the team finishing in that position has only won promotion in two of the past eight seasons."
So you're telling me that a spot that takes up 25% of the playoff spots has "only" won promotion 25% percent of the time? What are the odds!
Barnsley are seriously terrible. Pity they can't go PPG for second half of the season and let us take their place, as we would be making a much better fist of this!
Randell Williams does a JJ and scores from a corner to give Bolton a 3-1 lead and possibly settle the tie. Justice in a way as Barnsley had been awful until they scored.
I’m sure @FarmerCee will be calming himself down thinking “it’s only half time”... but they have a more than decent shot of returning to Wembley now... It’s got to be their year, hasn’t it?

Would be the first back-to-back promotion from L1 to PL in quite a while too
That poster who hates Ainsworth will be on here soon saying Keiran McKenna would have taken us into the Premier League.
It would be great if they went up. Who was the last team to do it? Southampton?
You just know VAR would have rules out that second Ipswich goal for offside.
Southampton, Norwich, Man City, Watford - in reverse order I think. Was a pub quiz question at a quiz I was at fairly recently
We're next.
(Above depends on you know who taking over and spending a nine figure sum for a laugh)
It's so nice watching a game without VAR tho.
Sancho was absolutely outstanding tonight. Get him on the plane.
Didn't see the game, but this is good to hear. Man Utd ruined him and it was sad to watch. Just a shame England are stacked in that position.

Barnsley Bolton. Who do we want to win this?
Bolton
Ok.
Come on you Bolts!!!!
Bolton winning the playoffs is really the only acceptable outcome, though I have a bad feeling it will be Oxford.
Got to support our fellow Wanderers
Bolton
Andy King announces his retirement from football. The first and only player in the Premier League era to win the top 3 divisions with the same team. Also played in a Champions League 1/4 final and went to the Euros with Wales. Not bad for a lad from Maidenhead.https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/king-announces-retirement/#:~:text=Winning%20League%20One%20in%202008,flight%20triumph%20in%202015%2F16.

They’ve been woeful for a couple of months now.
Hoping Bolton go up
Barnsley not in it at all and then score with their first shot on target. 1-2. Football eh?
Randell Williams scores direct from a corner - he clearly paid attention when playing with JJ.

Cosgrove still a total bellend I see
Who knew?
Congrats @FarmerCee if you still ever lurk!

Oxford Peterborough.
Peterborough??
Sinkhole
Hoping Birmingham go down so we get Tom Brady *and* Deadpool in L1 next season
Blackburn would be my preference, albeit massively unlikely. But Birmingham after them for a change of away.
