Saturday April 20th
Hats off to all the WW supporters travelling to Carlisle next Saturday. For those of us unable to go please consider this as an alternative.
Next Saturday is Flackwell Heath FC’s Community Day. Flackwell are within touching distance of winning the Combined Counties Premier North title. Next Saturday the Heathens entertain Edgware & Kingsbury in a very important match. Entry is FREE but spectators are asked to make a charity donation on the day. All proceeds go to Prostate Cancer UK. A very worthwhile cause & a game worth supporting if you’re not at Brunton Park.
Additionally there are games at Chesham United, Risborough Rangers & Tring Athletic if these are more convenient.

We are going to Carlisle from the South Coast, 660 mile round trip. Utterly bonkers I know 😂😂😂
Truly remarkable. Please tell us you’re staying overnight! 😎
Yes we are, coming back Sunday. Carlisle is a lovely place.
My wife is from Cumbria so I am taking her up there for a long weekend on Friday. I am going to the game with her cousin who is an ex professional footballer who scored the winning goal for Swindon against Oxford many years ago.
I will be attending along with 2 others and making a long weekend of it . Staying at Preston Friday & Saturday nights & travelling by train between Preston & Carlisle on matchday. Originally 4 in the party but one has had to drop out. This means I have spare rail travel tickets for 20/4 between Preston & Carlisle. Free to a good home if anybody can use them.
Now everyone will be searching all of the Oxford vs Swindon fixtures to draw up a shortlist to who your wife's cousin is!
Hi Otter.
His name is Tim Parkin. Played for Blackburn, Fort Lauderdale, Malmö, Bristol Rovers, Swindon, Port Vale, Shrewsbury, Darlington then went to Barrow in the Conference and had his leg broken and retired. See Wikipedia. BTW Otter how do you copy someones comments as you did with mine in your reply?

Looks like he played in the 1979 Intercontinental Cup final for Malmo? They took Forest's place after they declined to take part.
Thanks Chris.
First leg refereed by an English farmer named Patrick Partridge. Brilliant.
Over 550 career games and quite a well travelled career. Very impressive.
He must have some interesting stories
He has a lot of action photos in his loo including the winning header against Oxford. He also said that he was made interim manager at Darlington and then sacked. Comparing Wycombe with Darlington he said that football fans get the club that they deserve. He often talks about the way that Wycombe overachieve on a regular basis and that we should be grateful that we support a really well run club.
With Flackwell Heath needing to win 2/3 games to win the league they have reached half-time v Edgware & Kingsbury at 1-1.
Flackwell took the lead with a Wiktor Makowski penalty, only to be back on level terms as the visitors lobbed the home keeper to equalise. Around 400 at the match on Flackwell’s Community Day in aid of Prostate Cancer charities.
Attendance at Flackwell is 614.
Flackwell Heath 3 Edgware & Kingsbury 1
A second goal 5 minutes from the end put Flackwell back in the lead & a second penalty in injury time sealed a vital win for the Heathens. With over 600 fans cheering the home side on it was a fitting result on Flackwell Heath’s Community Day.
Extraordinary to get over 600 at Flackwell. Well done to all involved!
Next Saturday we KO at 12.30 with the game finishing around 2.30.
Flackwell Heath KO at 3pm at Chalfont St. Peter which could crown them champions.
If you fancied a triple header the Barnet Playoff game starts at 17.30 and tickets go on general sale on Wednesday at 6pm, neutrals should be able to pick up a ticket if you get in early.
Poor old Chalfont could be relegated by then which surely would make this fixture the ultimate procession for Flackwell. Parking might be tricky though given the nature of the game and the fact they’re regularly pulling three figure crowds now.
Just been reading about Gateshead being bounced out of the playoffs because the local council won't commit to a ten year lease on their ground, must be gutting. Had no idea you had to have ten years certainty on a ground to be accepted up, wonder how many EFL clubs have genuine certainty they'll exist in ten years.
Yeah I read that this morning as well, Dreadful stuff
Gateshead barred from National League play-offs over ground lease - BBC Sport
Surely this should have been made known as soon as the March 1st deadline was not hit. Yet 2 days before the Playoff games all the fixtures have now changed and Aldershot have been excluded even though they are the next team inline. Altrincham now have a bye.
Well done to all who went to this game.

Absolutely disgusting- there's crowds have got better in the last few years and when Newcastle don't have a game can actually get quite good. This and United allegedly beating Coventry- and they say there's no corruption in the game...
