Ali Al-Hamadi came on as part of a lateish multiple substitution for Ipswich at Carrow Road and made a difference with a couple of well timed forward runs chasing long passes from midfield and getting behind enemy lines. The commentator remarked that he looked surprisingly lively for someone due to have a groin operation.
Tjay suffered from a pretty bad clash of heads in the Rock Cup semi-final on Sunday. He and Bauti both ended up in hospital and the game had 21 minutes of added time at the end which Lincoln Red Imps won 1-0, their first win against St Joseph's this season.
When he's playing, someone is ending up on the floor. Whether it's him barging into players, defenders kicking the shit out of him, or a mix of the two.
Keeping Wealdstone and Boreham Wood up will, I think, help Chesham United get allocated to National South next season. There is talk of them having to go into North, if too many teams geographically south of them, go down. They really need Kiddy and York to go down.
That's true, as are St Albans City and Braintree Town, but would they move teams established in the South division, to North? It's not clear how they work out allocations.
Perhaps makes more sense to reorganise at this level creating three divisions - broadly North, Middle and South. Can’t make sense for a “suburban London” club to be expected to travel to Darlington for a League game at that level.
Same applies in the Southern League. Tomorrow weather permitting I will watch Evesham who will have had a six hour round trip to play in front of 150 people. The cost of the coach will probably exceed gate money.
Well, Hemel and St Albans have been in National South for 10 years now, Braintree slightly further back, including some time in the top division. It's probably irrelevant, the FA are pretty hard-nosed about allocations, sure it will come down to geography only.

Doug McCure will always be Trampas in The Virginian
Essential early Saturday evening viewing in the 60s.
Curtis Thompson outstanding today for Grimsby according to Mariners fans, as he has been several times in recent weeks.
Delighted for him. Some player.
Quite a good interview with Mike Williamson in the latest FourFourTwo, which also features the annual top 50 EFL players list.

Not sure, but Matt was not involved in the squad yesterday.

Firstly and most importantly - I hope he’s safe and recovering well.
Secondly - that is classic Tjay

It's a pity - there is an EFL player in there if he focused more on the ball and less on the barging.
Mehmeti scores for Bristol City again. Come on Albania - do the right thing!
Mehmeti off the bench to put Bristol C. 3 up.
Fingers crossed. Looks he might have his work cut out - they seem to have decent competition in that department.
Ryan Allsopp trending on Twitter, mostly because he's being slated by Hull fans.
Max Kretzschmar scored twice for Wealdstone in a National League thriller at Grosvenor Vale.
The Stones found themselves 2-0 down to Dorking Wanderers on the 54 minute mark but came roaring back to win 4-2.
The result all but relegates Dorking but gives Wealdstone real hope of avoiding the drop.

If its done purely on geographic terms then Hemel is further north than Chesham.

There must be a more scientific way they could do it, looking at average distances between clubs and factoring in budgets etc.
Oxford City have precedent of being in the North before, so hopefully they'll be first choice to go back there rather than Chesham.

Bit rich coming from me but I was disappointed to find that none of the five “new” posts (since I last checked in) mentions a single ex-player.
Hope Chesham get National South.
What term of years would qualify as "established" though? Sorry to disappoint @micra again!
You’re excused young @mooneyman 😉
You might have waited a long time for a response on Other Football or Local Team Football threads.
You still might!

Fred starts against Man City
Stryjek starts for Crewe
Up against the best dribbler in the league. Good luck Fred!
AAH starts for Ipswich.
