Was that ITV Digital? IIRC we were one of the few clubs that had the foresight (desperation?) to take most of the money for that deal up front so ended up ok after they collapsed.

International streaming is completely unaffected so those who watch via VPN can continue to do so.
The only change with be that Sky will show the midweek and international weekend fixtures that domestic subscribers could previously purchase.
Absolutely no need to panic about the international/VPN aspect.
The only negative part of all this is potentially kick off times changing which may make it harder for season ticket holders (although may enable fans who work Saturdays to attend more games)
On a normal weekend, there will be 5 League 1/2 games televised.
So 5 out of 24 matches. I’m sure although Sky promise to represent all clubs, it’ll be skewed towards the bigger sides. So probably about 15-20% of normal weekend matches affected, half of those at home.
All the communication has stated that DOMESTIC IFollow is ending.
The only matches that domestic IFollow subscribers have ever been able to purchase are for midweek games, international weekends and EFL trophy.
All of these will now be on Sky, therefore no need for domestic IFollow.
There’s absolutely nothing to state that there are any changes to international subscribers. Sky’s press release confirms that audio-visual arrangements for international subscribers continue.
‘Domestic streaming audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences via iFollow and club streaming services’
So for clarity you don't know - because you work for Sky or have some specific technical knowledge, for instance - which is absolutely fine.
Personally I have no idea how the technology is implemented or if the feed for international audiences of WanderersTV will pass through Sky servers - if that's even a thing - but I do know, from experience, that Sky are much better at blocking access to content via a VPN. Clearly that might affect certain international audiences.
I might delay buying my annual international pass until I'm confident it will work. Plus the economics of an annual pass v £10 per game change if too many matches get moved onto Sky.

Will probably still be the cost effective way too via the international pass, even if you only use it for aways.
At least it says there will be greater notice given for moving games. But will have to brace ourselves for up to 10 games a season suddenly randomly being moved.

If we had this in place for this current season, it would have been 20 league one games (11 home fixtures); 1 Carabou cup; 9 Bristol Motors.
So game 1 of the season will have to start on a quirky time as well?
Are they definitely staggering the kick offs? Seems more likely we’ll have one early, one late, one Friday, one Sunday the rest on the red button.

Not true. I watched last Sunday’s game on Sky via VPN. No issues at all.

Interested to know what VPN. My BitDefender is not good for a number of things now including Sky and the two gambling apps that I use.

Not only when they are broadcast on Sky, but also when they aren't?
Currently when a game is live on Sky it's not available on WanderersTV, so wouldn't surprise me if that's still the deal going forward.
However, we get to watch the other games on WanderersTV rather than iFollow, which is coming to an end. So how's that going to work.
