I was, of course, trying too hard to be humourous @micra. As if we'd be getting into bed with some crypto payment system! who do we know with those kinds of skills?
Just clicked onto the shop, not much going on there.
However, if you go to Adult Away Kits 23/24 and the goalkeeper top. I love the picture of Max caked in mud after his MOTM display at Bradford! That picture is so much better than the "marketing" pictures of JJ and Leahy..
I've been 'targetted'/geo-located by a sponsored Facebook ad from the official EFL account so the wider online advertising is clunking into life. Already got my tickets in Block 137 but I get it. I know we live in a digital-first age but the lack of something physical and tangible in our comms and visibility in the Chair Metropolis (and across South Bucks) is sad.
I am not sure if Americans say it, though I can't remember hearing it here. My life is a constant battle of trying to extricate the fusion of the two sides of the pond. For instance, I try to make sure I spell in the English manner on here, but in the American manner within the States.
I have no idea why 'student bedsit' popped into my mind but I have to say a 'half and half' scarf where the other team isn't mentioned is a great idea.
I think everyone knows what you think so could you please stop posting your boring negativity about a game that about 15,000 people have already bought tickets to watch.
Disagreeing with someone’s position by proposing a compelling alternative view is fine. It’s when you step over the line and just berate Gassroomers whose view you object to that you lose your audience Alan.
No matter how you feel about the trophy, I think it is undeniable that Blooms has taken it very seriously, and played quite strong teams even from the group stage. I think his serious attitude towards it is the main reason we are about to play in a Wembley final. I don't think all managers take it very seriously, and those teams get knocked out early.
I think we possibly took it more seriously than we otherwise would have done had our league form not been so abject, but I’m fine that the end justifies the means.
And yes, it is an aberration of a trophy, and the generous prize money given with one hand is taken back by the Prem clubs signing lower league players for a pittance, and trying to duck out of any suggested trickle-down funding deals.
But it’s silverware nonetheless, and surely beating the specific opponents we are facing would bring a smile to the face?

I’m sure @Shev has the stats, but this must be the longest non-derailed thread in Gasroom history.

I think you are right! It was almost disappointing to come onto an EFL Trophy Final thread and read about...the EFL Trophy Final. Nary a pun.
Merchandise in club shop 👍
And online https://www.wwfcshop.co.uk/product-category/wembley-merch-2024/
For me, the humour arose from the knowledge that you and @Gelactico are quite closely related.
l think I know who you have in mind!

Nary a pun. Haven’t heard that word for aeons. Is it perhaps one of those words that crossed the Atlantic westwards and stayed in circulation?
Interesting.
As it's Easter I think we should derail towards a fish thread.
I realise it's not my plaice
Any update on number of our tickets sold?

@Shev some people on here cannot spell in the English manner. I would not worry! 😉

Underwhelming selection. I'll stick with my flags, balloons and jester's hat from yesteryears.
🥳
Agree with twiz...imagine the guys selling outside the stadium will have a bigger selection.

I love how GA still says "WE'RE going to win." Hopefully he finds a good gig in the summer.
The F.A. Trophy meant something in 1991. This B-Team Trophy means nothing.
Still a couple of hundred seats short of the magic 90% to open T2 but they are slowly shifting
You can see the howls of anger coming when we get to 90.01% and no Tier 2 on sale.
There will be demands for a statement from the Trust at the very least. And possibly an open letter.
Has anyone considered daubing an old bedsheet with graffiti and hanging it outside Reading’s stadium?

With respect, all opinions (unless abusive or libelous) should not be discouraged on a forum.

Could people please stop making posts that confuse lose/loose.
Thankyoou.

Kone going from level nine football to Wembley in four months should net us millions in movie rights.
Or at least five minutes on Football Focus.
