At this point, after the all the abuse, I would find it a teeny bit hilarious if RC backed out of the training ground deal and it caused the overall sale to get messed up somehow.
Can someone who does photoshop make me Reading & Derby badges with 'Rotting Carcass FC' as the club names? For the Derby one, preferably with the ram upside down as if dead.
Both fan bases refer to their clubs in this manner when calling us vultures, so I would like to be able to supply them with badges for the cause.
Planning permissions and covenants are very different. Once a place is built unless there are specific covenants and I suspect there will be in relation to sport maybe even football but in very much doubt if it was Reading FC, specifically as Reading FC might have to be AFC Reading 2024 in the future.
From this report I can confirm that two people claiming to be Wycombe fans turned up for this protest and both seem to be wearing very nice scarves that look almost new if you ask me.
Bit early to paint us their saviours on the basis of one tweet after some were saying everything produced in the 2 days prior including some that directly counter it amount to nothing substantial, fingers crossed for them, the rest is noise. Understand people jumping to the clubs defence but also plenty have made it clear they don't give a toss either way and that's a little disappointing.
Certainly raise questions if their prospective new owners think the upkeep of the place isn't a priority or worth the expense.
As a recent convert to loving the USA, I was wondering if you had an American flag I could wave at our game today. I'd have used a bedsheet but I've left mine outside your ground.
Cheers in advance, a loyal Reading fan and proud member of the football family.
Surely the planning permission isn't going to stop us using it? Besides, I'd imagine we'll be part renting it out to Reading anyway so they will be using it either way...

If this is true, why don't they want the training ground?
Would this spell the end to the training ground purchase, or would both deals likely happen alongside eachother?
North American group. Pete and Missy Couhig.
Anyone know the attendance tonight? And did we sell out the car park?
And did ADT provide the security?
If only that wasn't a joke!
So are we back to besties again with Reading? After all, what are a few threats of violence and death between friends?
Outside from turning up to games, making a lot of noise and buying stuff football fans are, by and large, a bunch of idiots.
The planning permission for Bearwood is personal to Reading Football Club so that probably knocks any deal on the head.
Either way, looks like the protest at AP today might end up being filed under premature exasperation.

North American group ? Feliciana minus Rob Couhig ( retired) and a Georgian Billionaire on the board?
Wycombe Wanderers f@cked, with no owner (or back under trust ownership for a while).
Wycombe fans protesting outside Reading FC front gates in a couple of weeks.
Can we count them in our official attendance figures?
It’s almost as if everyone should wait for probable facts before acting out. Who knew !
Does this mean we now have £25 million to spend at AP? Or was it like that 320 million a week for the NHS?
This is the saddest thing I’ve seen in my entire life.
Well - Northampton at AP tomorrow - COYB!

If the rumour about us enabling the deal you will hear me laugh all round Adams Park, and I’m not in the country right now.
The elephant the room now of course is how the f would we afford to run an academy?

Interesting change of tone on the Reading forum as the sale of Bearwood has apparently helped facilitate their potential change of ownership.
See paragraph 4 on page 90.

If only we had a planning expert. Over to you @DevC.
There wasn't a page 90 on this document as it started at 159
They’re in the grieving process so understandable the fast switching of moods and hitting out at people.
Particularly with the training ground going up for sale and it seemingly being a done deal in about a week.
Dear Peter Couhig,
As a recent convert to loving the USA, I was wondering if you had an American flag I could wave at our game today. I'd have used a bedsheet but I've left mine outside your ground.
Cheers in advance, a loyal Reading fan and proud member of the football family.
P.S. Sorry about the death threats.

So what are we thinking now ?
An American consortium about to buy Reading FC?
Pete Couhig , Missy Couhig on the board of Reading FC led by Mikhail Lomtadze?
Rob Couhig’s quite separate company remains as owner of WWFC for the time being?
WWFC about to be evicted from Marlow Road training facility?
Marlow Road site to be redeveloped by Beeks ?
WWFC to share the Wokingham Bearwood Avenue site with Reading FC.
Rob Couhig to find a buyer for WWFC, possibly the trust in the short term ?
A lot of past events begin to make sense
