Rob's Q&A on Tuesday
While it's great that we have an owner who likes to meet the fans and attend quite a few matches, what do you think will or won't be discussed? Surely the resignations of his family needs to be addressed or will he avoid the issue? Will we be given a straight answer over the ownership model at the club? Are we being taken-over? We can't have anymore broken or false promises over this access road as we ALL know, nothing is happening on that front but I just hope that he is being honest with us

I’m left with a sour taste after being told that we had to give up 15% of the club to allow all the big infrastructure projects.
What actually happened was the Trust gave the club £100k+ and 15%, since when I haven’t seen any evidence of progress on the new road, new terrace, roof repairs or new pitch.
Not particularly clear what we got for our 15% is it?
I thought it was in exchange for not being subject to a cash call in order to match money they were putting in?
The way it was explained was that they could have done so at that point and the Trust did not have the funds to meet it, and so would have had to give up equity anyway
Hopefully those able to attend will ask sensible, pointed questions about our current concerns. The very nature of a Q and A puts the ball in our court.
What do you mean?
At a guess, a reference to the question asker at the last one who made a complete mess of asking about the outside investment.
But we have no active plans for any of those projects nearly 12 months on. It seemed they were only imminent for the purposes of the share sale.
I still find it staggering we gave up the 15% whilst at the same time giving the club £100k+ for updating toilets etc, precisely the kind of thing we were told we couldn’t afford to contribute 25% towards.
I’ll admit to be lost when it comes to the ownership aspects of our football club, but ‘what have we got in return for giving you more of it + £100,000’ would seem to be a fair starting question.
Keep it simple and avoid show boating.
I think 'Who is Mikheil Lomtadze and what is his involvement with Wycombe Wanderers?' would also be a good starting point.
Something like, ‘what is the connection between Mikheil Lomtadze’s recent investment in Feliciana EFL, the resignation of Missy and Pete from the football club board and the need for continued outside investment?’
Got you, cheers
My advice when dealing with showboating attorney: Don't ask a two-part question when the first part is just a licence to waffle if what you actually want is an answer to the second part.
Good for the club to offer this Q n A which they dont have to.
But is it me, or are they always on a midweek when its bound to be quite a lowish crowd?
'showboating,' is a weird autocorrect of 'successful.'
They aren’t mutually exclusive in this case!
They very much are in this case. If Rob was a mere showboater it would be easier to catch him out. The fact that a large part of his professional success depends on marshaling evidence and answering poorly phrased questions to his advantage makes it much harder.
The following ought to be asked in no particular order...
a) Why the recent Couhig family resignations as directors?
b) What is Lomtadze's involvement in the club?
c) What is the club's governance structure?
d) What has the Trust got for it's "sale" of 15% of the club to Feliciana?
e) Is the club being sold?
f) Will Matt have funds to bolster the squad in the summer?
g) When will the FA roof be repaired?
h) When will the work on the terrace start?
i) Will the pitch be relaid in the summer?
j) What is the current position on the new road?
K) Has the club had any success in finding someone to run the Millbrook park and stride .
k) Wycombe Wanderers garden gnomes seem to have fallen completely off the agenda. When can we expect the club shop to start stocking them again?
Have any details come out about this?
Conservative estimate, 100 cars, £5 each, let the school keep all the money.
Can they not offer one teacher/parent £100 for a few hours work and everyone wins?
Could there be some health and safety / insurance issue?
L) What's the latest on the chairlift?
i don’t know why it ended so abruptly it seemed to be mutually beneficial the school got a not insignificant amount of money, fans got pre booked parking and the club got those people through the gate.
I suspect the gnomes are hanging around the stage door following Gaz on tour😉
Perhaps someone suggested including a £3 per ticket booking fee?
This was my immediate thoughts too. Someone pointed out a clause in the insurance that either makes the school liable for any damage to the cars, or invalidates their insurance if there's any damage to the school while cars are parked in the car park.
Puts me in mind of the Snachez/Comanche days, I wonder if the two are still united. Perhaps we should be stocking gnome sized Comanches as well?
The structural problem with the Trust owning 25% of the club was always that this meant they would have to fund 25% of the losses; 25% of any player purchases; 25% of any ground improvements.
With the club itself only paying a peppercorn rent for Adams Park the Trust would never have had the funds to support this. And any number of prize draws and memorabilia auctions could never close the gap.
For example, if the club lost £2 million in a year then the Trust were on the hook for £500,000.
Sadly it was inevitable that this simply could not be sustained.
Who is down thumbing this ? These are exactly the questions that should be asked ! Not what's your favourite cheese or did you have a great flight over !
Double Gloucester, whilst we are on the subject. With Guy Branston Pickle smothered between two slices of Bread Onyedinma.
