Can see arguments for both, but goodison only gets worse with age, it gets the odd lick of paint but to still have many obstructed views, wooden seats etc it's not what the modern football fans expect.
I love it though and have loads of memories, not so much of winning things but going the game with my Dad, brother, Grandad and more recently the kids.
How long will it be before these grounds are in the water? (climate change speaking of course). Craven Cottage is right next to the river,as is the aptly named riverside stadium for the Boro.
@ryan_w_kirkby2 I'm sure someone has asked this before on here, possibly even me, but my memory is terrible. With generations of Everton fans in your family, how did you end up a Wycombe fan too?

Hmmm......they'll certainly be in the Championship but I'm not sure we'll be.

Give me Goodison Park every day of the week

Will it be the closest stadium to the sea in England? Southampton and Sunderland are very close but not that close, I don't think.
Glass or not. I don’t like the sound of the vomitories. Sounds a bit sick
I'll throw Blackpool as being the closest to the sea. Others may be closer to water ...
Actually I'm going to say Grimsby Town ...
But then again it's technically on the Humber river
Ooh, Grimsby is a very good shout

Tifo have tried to answer that very question https://youtu.be/NRAusanxXkg?feature=shared
fascinating! thanks @flymofrank
Scotland not England, but Arbroath's ground is basically in the sea
"...including Grimsby Town's Blundell Park which will sit below the new North Sea." 😮
Doncaster's ground is aptly named the Keepmoat stadium
I was disappointed when I went there and found it wasn't a castle

And of course Grimsby’s ground isn’t in Grimsby. Which other clubs aren’t in the place their name suggests?
Port Vale isn't even a place, so that's one.
QPR
Possibly FGR, but I think Forest Green is a part of Nailsworth
Bolton
West Ham. There are loads, depending on how petty you want to be...
Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers are a long way from Wycombe
And on a similar theme, apparently there is a Liverpool FC based in Montevideo.

Central Scotland gives us Rangers Celtic Hearts and Hibernian.
Surrey CCC play a decent distance from Surrey
Bournemouth play in Boscombe don't they?
And isn't Old Trafford in Salford?
Are we talking temporally as well as spatially?
Bernado O'Higgins died in 1842, yet O'Higgins FC continue to go from strength to strength.
The clue is in the name - it's in Trafford (although a short hop across the Manchester Ship Canal from Salford.)
