Although the football ground has long been demolished, the cricket ground remains and is operated by the Park Avenue Bradford Charity. Further plans are in place for a new pavilion on the cricket ground. The perimeter wall of the football ground remains and some of the bricked up terrace entrances can still be seen on Canterbury Avenue with admission signs still in place.
That would be exactly a year on the job for Blooms - not a bad day to secure a trip to Wembley! Though I would swap it for knowing we will definitely be going to Loftus Road next season.
Could be a really memorable away trip couldn’t it? One of those midweek matches in far flung places like the match at Grimsby in the run to the FA Cup semi-final.
Halfway through that game was where our season fell apart.
So I will predict a mirror image. Awful first half followed by a decent second half but then finish up the season playing the sort of football we were when we were looking at the top end of the table

Could well be Tuesday 20th.

I better book a day off.
Forgive me for alerting fellow fans to the fact they might be able to watch the game
It’s like a home match for me . Only 4.5 miles from home.
@yorkyblue Can you put us all up at your place overnight?
Unfortunately the National Media Museum is closed for refurb until the summer
A local game for me,looking fwd to it.
I love it when you quote your own posts.
Quick stat check..has a team ever won this Cup and been relegated same season?
Asking for a friend and that.
Luton 2009
Where are they now?
As omens go, it's not bad
Travelodge is only a 15 min walk to the ground, Gasroom overnighter?
That would be fun. Wish I wasn’t past it.
Bradford have already knocked out Derby and Barnsley in the EFL Trophy. Beating Barnsley 5-1 at home and beating Derby 0-1 away.
In the League their home form is dire with only four wins from 13 games.
In the League they start slowly and are very strong in the second half.
Not seen this mentioned but we have already beaten them away in the FA Cup this season.

Was that the game when Potts was injured and subbed at half time?
Yes
the museum is sadly closed at the moment, have been wanting to go. Saltaire is worth a walk around.
Is it obligatory to defecate in the kettle though? If it is, anyone know where the nearest Premier Inn is!
Blackpool are favourites to win the competition, followed by Posh, then us and finally Bradford.
That suggests the bookies are going for a Blackpool / Wycombe final.
The odds I found are: Peterborough 7/4, Blackpool 11/4, Wycombe 9/2 and Bradford 5/1.
So a Posh v Chairboys final if those are correct.
The Alan Swann Final.
Abandoned at HT as both teams are conscripted to fight in WWIII.
Wycombe handed the trophy for having the better xG and Alan's head explodes like in the movie Scanners.
Shit. I forgot Alan haunts this place.....
Can see it now.
Peterborough bring 40,000 for the biggest game in their history.
We bring 2,000.
1,000 who were adamant that they'd never bother with this cup.
How many Bristol Street ticket stubs do I need?
Eleventy.
Plus proof you've been to Carlisle away. Ideally a receipt from a suave restaurant within 2miles of their ground.
Suave restaurant near the ground? I take it you’ve never been to Carlisle!
We found quite a lovely Greek restaurant, but it wasn't suave.
Moreover I no longer have the receipt.
If we’re talking food I can thoroughly recommend Prashad, a South Indian restaurant in a village 10 mins drive from Bradford called Drighlington.
